The opener has to be good. The middle can be weak. But the closer has to end strong, because the first and last is what people remember the most. Walking to the car, reciting jokes at the after spot... It's the closer. Definitely important for music, sports and comedy.

Monique took issue with DL saying he tried to give her a chance and asked, how was he giving her a chance when no money was coming from him, nor did he bring her on. If that's true, then he's not at all to blame in the mishap. It's just a mess and I'm tired of watching black people attack each other publicly over petty bs while black people continue to be murdered with impunity, our children look up to cardi b and Megan the stallion, descendants of enslaved Africans in this country are consistently denied reparations while the country that owes them finds billions of dollars to give to Ukrainians. There are bigger fish to fry, we need to conduct ourselves with respect and show some unity if we are to ever get anywhere. This was not that, we are being, and always have been, judged by the actions of a few. But, more importantly, what does this constant infighting do to our image in our own eyes? It's just not good.

Ever since the Netflix situation, Monique's comedy routine has changed from her usual standup to adding personal grievances to the show. It reminds me of another celebrity a few years ago that was voted into the highest position in our country. Often this person would verbally, and over social media would type their personal tirades and problems out to folks. Over time, many voters got tired of the song and dance and I think many of Moniques fan base are starting to get tired of this version of her as well. People don't pay lots of money to hear her complaints about a contract dispute. And just for the record, how is it that she had more grace and humility towards black women who argued her over wearing bonnets outside the house than a misunderstanding with a black man over who closes the show? Go figure. Its all petty in comparison to real life issues going on in our country.

The only thing I will agree on is that Monique is overly passively aggressive. She's hold so much in to the point that when it boils over, her reaction it's intense. But that's the problem with the industry and how women were told to shut up and accept whatever if you want to move up in the game. After 35 years in the game, she held her tongue over 20+ of those years before finally speaking out. At this point I don't blame her.

I watched that with my jaw on the floor. She called him the B word, a B word N word, an N word, down low and a coon! She called him everything but a child of god! I was AMAZED at her behavior! She was walking across that stage like a person on drugs; pacing back and forth all while yelling obscenities! That was horrible! How do you go so hard for a fellow comedian WHEN THEY DON'T CONTROL THE EVENT and you didn't even TALK TO THEM to ask if you could switch times? DL was ALWAYS scheduled to be last! It was on the tickets! It was on the flyers for the event! She had a right to be angry, but NOT AT DL or any other comedian on that ticket! What comedian hasn't expressed his or her grievances on the stage?? Y'all being bias as hell. D.l. Hughley has spoken bad about this woman in many of places, and on his podcast over the years. The fact that Lee Daniels came out publicly and apologize to this woman should say something about the things that she said maybe true. But y'all defending DL the same man who calls for security when he talks bad about women and they confront him🤣. D.l. Hughley the same man that was calling people sellouts, black people mind you if they didn't vote for Biden and what has Biden done for the black people since he been in office, nothing. You're defending someone you know is full of s***, but it is said the meek will inherit the earth.

From the SAT section... *Mo'Nique : DL Hughley :: Will Smith : Chris Rock* I understand Mo'Nique is frustrated, but I don't fully understand _why_ she is _still_ frustrated. If I paid for that show, I honestly don't know how I would have felt listening to all the hostility directed at DL when I paid to see her do stand-up. It's one thing to have a routine about a celebrity. It's another thing to have a routine about a celebrity _who is coming on stage after you._ Bottom line: The reason given to her why she wasn't getting Chappelle or Schumer money from Netflix was because she hadn't done any noteworthy stand-up in about 10 years. She was doing movies and her TV show, then she took a few years off, which brought us to the "Girl's Trip" controversy. If this is what she considers stand-up, she won't have to worry about Netflix or anybody else.
