Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 You're jumping into a whole different era now. This is the type of songs and blend i was looking for, and this is another song that the girls love. This one got some DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami along with Seven Lions- After Dark vibes the first time i heard the snippets of this, but i wasn't expecting that solo guitar, i was waiting for Takayoshi Ohmura shredding this live but instead we got one of the Western Kami Band performing this for the first time and it was awesome. The exotic middle eastern (Arabic) sound gives to this new track a sort of tale that relates directly to METAL KINGDOM and maybe Divine Attack - Shingeki too, both from this new album. Here's some official info: METALIZM (SMOKE) _An armored knight appears amid a smoky haze. The song features tribal rhythms interwoven with captivating melodies as if it narrates a fable-like story._ Queen SuMetal is narrating us a King's tale of the Metal Kingdom with this psytrance mixed with middle eastern, Egyptian, Arabian or whatever sound that looks so cool with the unique blend of BM. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd when MomoMetal was baptized as the third new official member. "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" - great song - Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) Psy-trance metal at its best.🦊🤘 Having the intros for the live performances of their songs adds to the whole thing and builds up the anticipation. The fans know the intros and what song is coming as well. This was the Kami Band of the West - Chris Kelly and CJ Masciantonio on guitars, Clint Tustin on bass, Anthony Barone on drums.🎸🎸🥁🎸

👍 👍 HQ pro shots of LIVE Babymetal performances (like this) contain intros and actual crowd noise and instrumentals. The Official MV's rarely include intros and many times use studio audio over LIVE footage without actual crowd noise and lacking Kami Babd instrumentals. This is why I suggest HQ pro shots over MV's

Great reaction, thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one and witnessed how good (and unpredictable) team BABYMETAL is at composing. The thing is that many said that they were going the safe way when the first singles off The Other ONE came out.. and then, they dropped this mind-blowing song. Because everything about it is unusual, unexpected or fooling: the use of that particular minor harmonic scale (Phrygian dominant), giving the song its Middle Eastern flavor; the lack of an actual chorus, replaced by two guitar solos; the onomatopoeic use of the song's tittle in the lyrics... Yes, this is different from... well, everything else. You are right about Japanese crowds. I'm in Europe and I'm afraid we are as rude as your fellow Americans, hehe... I've been to four BABYMETAL concerts between December 2023 and March 2024 in Europe and Japan and Japanese crowds are absolutely incredible in so many ways. They never sing along the lead singer, for example... that's considered very rude. They know every single move and every chant and they do it in perfect synchrony. There is a very few "crowd noise" between songs and even less when the intro or interlude is running. Meanwhile, here in Europe, crowds were just crazy, singing along all the time, shouting, etc. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm guilty. It's... different, just another kind of fun. 😁

Yeah! Everything about this song blows me away too! A detail that didn't go unnoticed by me that I really love too is, they are in full serious business mode the entire song, NO sign of kawaii here! Which to me is just a testament to their top notch theater skills, and having songs like this, where they're super serious, makes the kawaii smiles and antics all the more powerful in my opinion!
