It certainly seems quite polished; but in my opinion, the opponent AI is way harder than any of the prior games, and that's on Normal. I play more Puyo Puyo Tsu on my classic Mac than I play Sun...

How to unblock Carbuncle - hold start/enter button on arle selected in championship mode, and after seconds it should be it.

@@Kromiball Doing it on Draco will flip the 1P/2P controls. On Zoh Daimaoh, it'll replace all the character sprites with him (but they'll still be the same characters). On Rulue it randomizes the selection.

Boy Next Door late reply, but Harpy's AI is to build on the sides first, then make chains (Jay&Elle have similar AI in puyo puyo tetris). other characters do something similar; suketoudara (the fish with legs) fills the bottom 4 rows before chaining, and Nohoho the frog quickly fills the right side of the board before attacking (Ai also does this in Puyo Puyo Tetris).

When arle is selected on character select press start/enter and hold the key for a few seconds, carbuncle should pop up as he did in the video. (If you follow the same steps while having schezo chosen instead of arle you can play as satan.)
