Nah only if you want a full on beard. I just stopped wet shaving and now shave witha beard trimmer set to shortest setting once a week. I’m patchy but a light beard looks way better on me than being clean shaven. When I first stopped shaving I started getting chatted up by girls it was really noticeable. I think when I wet shaved my beard was invisible, I looked too baby faced maybe. A few days growth looks great. Designer stubble I suppose you’d call it.

Great video! But the bulk of the beard oil should go on the skin with each application. So you put it in your hands, rub together, and then go up underneath the beard and massage into the skin to replace the natural oils we lose when washing, being in the outside environment, etc. Naturally you will get some oil in the beard itself, and that’s ok. But don’t apply to just the beard, and not the skin. Skin first! Cheers!

@@crimuicideboy73 no, but I have considerably more hair than before, and probably will be able to scrounge together something decent in the future. I can grow a shitty goatee right now. My recommendation to you is eat well, wash your face, get a derma roller, and if you mix a small bottle of Avocado oil (like 100ml) and add in 4-6 drops of peppermint extract, it will increase your hair growth by a lot, and can even work for something like bald patches on your eyebrows from an injury or a zit or something

Genetics is mostly what makes a beard. I can grow a good goatee but my face hair dont grow much or not thick it's patchy, my dad can only grow stubble and nothing else, never seen him in my life with a beard. Also beard oil is for the skin primarily not just the hair that just comes right off after you play with your beard as everyone tends to mess with it so that oil mostly just gets on your hands.
@thebadogre99962 жыл бұрын
While it's true that genetics is the most important in growing a beard, it's important to mention a few things. First, there are different types of hair on your face, some grow out faster, others slower, and I can tell it's true on my example. I was afraid to grow out my beard because I thought it was patchy, after a month or two I could see a lot more hair on my face because the other hair started to catch up, and when I trimmed it to the same length it looked much more uniform. Second thing, stubble will always look sparse on your face, but once hair is getting longer it starts to cover up the skin undeneath it. One will never know what he can grow without giving it at least 2 months :) About the beard oil, that's true, I mostly use those kinds of oils, like argan oil, before going to bed to better condition my beard. I do have another one that absorbs into the hair quickly, and it doesn't get on my hands at all.

I am totally fine with any beard product at all. Looks totally fine!! Just don't wash it with shampoo all the time, because just like with your hair on the head your body will try to refat your hair and it will overdo so. Just use water you will be totally fine. Cut your ends every once a while just like with the hair on your head they will split and dry if you don't do so for a long time. Be healthy over all will help you maybe with you hair growth, but it will help you pretty much with everything else you will do in your life. So stay healthy for yourself :-)

I normally wash my face twice a day with L’Oréal Paris Men Expert hydra sensitive soothing daily face wash, then use L’Oréal men expert Vita Lift anti aging daily moisturizer. All over my face from my forehead to the bottom of my neck... Want to ask when your growing a beard (mine is about a centimeter by now) do you stop using cleansing washes on your facial hair side and moisturizers? You only use beard shampoo and conditioner and beard oil and balm? Meaning from forehead to nose normal cleaning routine and face products and from checks to neck just beard products only? No more moisturizers where beard growth is? Guess beard oil replaces that? Thanks :)

The beard oil is for your face mostly, beard oil is going to help you when your face starts to itch from the beard growth. Beard cream will help you style your beard. Get yourself some 10,000 MG Biotin vitamins, I took them 3 times a day breakfast, lunch & dinner. The Biotin really made my beard grow quickly and if your out in the sun the vitamin D you get from the sun will also be essential to your beard growth as well. Don't brush your beard when it's wet, could cause breakage. Make sure to wash your beard every day with a beard shampoo. Put the beard oil on your face every other day unless you have very dry skin. The oil that you have left on your hands can be applied to your tattoos if you have any. Great for your skin and then nothing went to waste.

@joopsoos31282 жыл бұрын
Try using only baby-creams. I have very sensitive and reactive skin on my face, but for last 25 years since i switched to baby-care products i didn't have any problems with it. No dry skin, no flakes, no acnes, no itch, no red irritation at all - smooth as baby's tushy. Most of aftershaves and similar products are too aggressive, even for a male skin.
