if you mean trying to act cute in the music concept, it's because her company. all artist in korea have concept that match with their look, even tho their real character is not quiet like that. Example like Taecyon 2PM, "the sexy beast" because her muscular body, tan skin, and strong facial structure, but in reality he's cute, a huge nerd, clumsy, and awkward with woman. IU is can't act cute purposely like doing aegyo or else, but she's naturally born with baby face and big eyes, and shorter than most korean woman, so the concept cute are so perfect for her. in reality, she's so mature, the way she talk is different like the way she sing, she's a very good drinker, her bestfriend is 9 year older than her, and don't forget her scandal with Eunhyuk.
