Sony MDR XB950N1 Headphones Review & Noise cancellation test

BIG NOTE!!!
During, the sound test, The headphones themselves did NOT distort at all, but depending on the kind of headphones you are using, you might hear distortion in bass Depending on how well the headphones you are using can handle too much bass. I noticed this my self when i was editing this video that my MDR 750 headphones were distorting and yet i didn't here this during the test with the 950n1 on my head. so just wanted to make sure you guys understand that.
Anyways,
Sony's XB950 headphones are all about the bass for sure. Bass heads won't be disappointed.

My pair just came in the mail today, the bass isn’t as distorted as it sounds on this vid, when I watched again with my pair of them the bass sounded natural and was even higher than I heard with my beats solo 3s I would highly recommend

+zack preville I listen to the 950 a lot more than the 4.50 because I listen to bass heavy music. So if you are the same, the 950 would be your best choice, the 4.50 are more for ballanced music.

Just a note for you. I am sorry but I think you may have some problem with your microphone left channel because my headphones (Sony MDR-1000X) can handle very strong basses and I listen to very low volume so.. the problem is on your microphone which could not handle too much heavy bass. Very nice video! You are the first one starting to review bluetooth headset and I am sure you will have lot of success with this. I would like you to test the Linkwitz F5A, Sony MDR-1000X (to start). Thanks!!

Yes it works with no battery but to use the extra bass booster it needs to be powered on while 3.5mm jack is connected.

I have had two sets of these. Both sets physically broke at the thin plastic that let the ear piece swivel. At $180 each you would think Sony would make something that would last which this doesn't. I will NEVER purchase another set of Sony headphones ever again. I an not a fan!

Those headphones sucks and worth 80 at most,the build quality is cheap and it only has bass everything else music wise sounds bad...its like those guys who have loud bass in there car and the rest of the music does not blend well together....
