Tommy Odell could sing the phone book and still sound unreal!!!

First time I’ve ever heard him remotely struggling with any note ever. Still a bop.

This is a definite hit! Every party of the song has catchy melodies! Great chorus too! Goosebumps!

I KNEW the live version would be better than the recorded one. Still, guitars need to be louder in the mix.

My favourite band for the last few years, seen them live multiple times and I can admit this song needs improving live…this was their 3rd time ever playing it though so hopefully will be better on the upcoming intimate tour

Seen them at Leeds and tbh they sounded much better than this

Just saw them in an indoors venue in Sydney and it sounded GREAT. Their drummer was frickin INCREDIBLE!!!! Not sure if it's the same guy they got here.

Loved it but the multiplied version of the band on stage in that huge bg screen gives me headache😅

Sounds great butt it doesn’t sound as good without the high guitar part in the choruses

God this song is so emotional but it seemed like the guys were bored playing it - no stage presence at all, no hype. Live performance could be improved.

It's music. The genius is in the writing and musicianship. If you want a show, gaggles of dancers, costume changes or someone wearing a box on their head go to the circus, or a lady gaga concert even.

@@kharley81 mate I'm a musician myself and I can't help but get so caught up in the music, and feel it to my absolute core. Stage presence is important- you want your artists to look like they want to play in front of you. I'm not asking for the circus - that's a huge overexaggeration of my original comment. At least just have fun when you're playing you know.

@@sarahpattison5507 check this out kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6CwnHadotWco9E One of my favourite bands, so understated performance but what makes them so cool. We may disagree but sound that your watching dmas videos. Best band on the planet👍

@@sarahpattison5507 that wouldn't fit with their 'brand' imo. This is exactly what DMA's are about; WYSIWYG.

@@sarahpattison5507It's a 2 way street imo. When a band comes out they feed off the energy they receive. Watch them at Brixton, we gave everything and they were energised.

Must admit, fan of this song on the record but I don't actually think this performance is that great. Odell's voice sounds a bit strained
