Well picked 👍👍 Very controlled! I always struggle with the binding order once you are in the milling, you did that very nice 👍 Cheers 🍻

Me too. Very difficult to know what's set and what isnt. I kinda play ping-pong until I get the open 😁👍🏻

Well done on the open. Just shows not to be too eager when picking, you could have very easily overset those almost zero lift pins 🙂👍🏻. "All locks are not created equal", this is why I don't mind seeing the same type/style locks picked on a channel. It's always interesting to see a comparison. Cheers Dmac, great video.

Thanks Roy. I think gins make oversetting difficult which may've helped me out. Either way, a fun pick 😁👍🏻

This very lock is my current favorite. Gin spools are not nearly as nasty as Christmas greens so are still fun to pick haha.

Yeah, that gin head pop is addictive! 😁👍🏻

Read ‘one can see his brain turning, hear the little clicks, like the gins of an elaborate lock . . ‘ in Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel (page 322). I’d never heard of the word gin in this lock context, and ended up here. Glad I did. Such dexterity. So now I understand gin to be that part of a pin which is dislodged by a key to open a lock. Or by a pick.

@@novianovioTV Glad to have you here 😁👍🏻 The gin is a very effective type of security pin mainly found in old Assa or Ruko locks. There is an excellent video from Artichoke2000 who shows the inside of the lock with gin pins, while being picked. I'll link it below
