Dmart share is already trading at higher valuation. There is no growth in dmart share price from oct 2021, cuz of higher valuation. Even after 25% fall it is still trading at 96 PE. Don't expect multibagger return from this share. max you can expect is that it will double after 5 years. Dmart needs to expand internationally for fast growth.

These quick commerce are surviving because of free wallet cashback which they are providing. This won't continue for long. Once they stop giving wallet cashback and start charging for delivery, customers will automatically shift towards dmart. Earlier I used to order food from Zomato but now the food costs twice as much as we get from restaurant after including delivery charges. Also these quick commerce are good only for buying small urgent items, nobody buys their groceries from blinkit or zepto they still prefer dmart for that. Dmart will outperform them in the long run.

As a consumer, If I had a choice between fighting and struggling in smallest ails of the dmart with so many ppl cramped in, and then wait for billing in the queue while their competition is providing good deals on the products and a doorstep delivery. The choice is obvious. Dmart need to step up their customer shopping experience along with the deals or provide similar services (hope not too much of traffic these days).

Dmart has growth that's why it is trading at 96 PE. If it misses expectation even a bit the stock price will fall. So best price to buy it is at around 3200, but there is no guarantee that it will come down at that price. If you buy now then you will remain at constant fear.

When Dmart was 5K, top MF analysts gave target price of 5,800+ But, Dmart share is now around 4,200rs Moral: NO one, literally no one in the entire world can predict a stock price movement, neither short term or long term price movement!
