Most optimistic statement ever " Luckily, most of our property has burned."
@voteZDLR4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, hard for something to burn again when it's already burned. In fact, that's one of the best ways to put fires out is to start a new one in strategic places for the other fire to "burn into" and then because it's already been contained it can't really keep going.
@alecweise69654 жыл бұрын
@@voteZDLR definitely, and thats why we need to do controlled burns

I just went through fires in Oregon and we ended up with a few good ideas in hindsight that I figured I'd share. #1 Build the pump house sides and roof out of materials that wont burn, in our case cinderblock wall and both a metal roof and door. #2 we got a generator to run our pump for a solid 12 hours if the power was to get cut off. #3 is of course (above ground) all galvanized pipe, fittings, and Dramm Spinner Head so no worries about melting.

Banging out the progress👍coming along nicely! I don’t envy your bill right now uuuhhhggg but it’s gonna be a nice set-up when you get it all dialed in 👍 You might think about running a firebreak sprinkler system along your fence in the future.
