Nope, no matter how many times I see mad combos in dmc 5 they just can't compare to dmc4. I like the choice of weaps in dmc5, especially the scythe, but they could've done so much more. The dragon ball z-like combos you can pull with Vergil in dmc4 make dmc5 look like a game for amputees. If and when they make dmc6 I truly hope they don't forget the amazing shit they had in dmc4, especially for Vergil.

@@Leo-mj1mt Ah sure, the actual DMC5 is great, and Vergil is OP as hell. The famous Vergil motivation combo certainly got many people to buy the game. The DMC reboot was a failure.

@@Shijaru64 Agreed with all about DMC5, though gotta say but please don't judge me I started playing DMC just because DmC 2013, I don't even want to call it Reboot it's like calling The Little Mermaid 2023 the Reboot of the OG, anyways DmC I played it for the first time months ago and gotta say the story is ASS, but Combat, Soundtrack and the Urban levels and their design are real good, not as good as DMC3,4,5 nor deep but you can do some good stuff out of it, yeah you may think I don't like mainline saga, I do and a LOT but I still play DmC just for the combat, nevermind everything from story I just skip cutscene lol

"Looks disgusting"? What do you mean? The nearly identical gameplay? The staggeringly creative aesthetics? The just as flashy as ever moveset? I mean my only complaints with this game were that this version of Vergil is a jackass and this version of Dante is way less hot.

Althalus2010 He probably mean that everything looks fucking dirty and gross. And just because the gameplay is identical doesn't mean it's as good. The aesthetics are creative, definitely, and in my opinion are pretty well designed. The Art team knew what they were doing in regards to world design. One thing I liked about this game was the kinetics of the animation. Everything really felt good to hit, swing felt like it had weight. DMC 4 did this well too, but this game seems to almost want to be realistic in it's animations.

Out of the 3 games with combo depth (3, 4, and DmC) DmC would probably be the weakest in terms of what you're given to work with. I felt the sound design was a little weaker in DmC too.
