The reboot is actually good, and gets a lot of unwarranted hate. That said, the original console release was 30fps, was very exploitable and broken, from the stylish meter to Aquila and Demon Dodge being overpowered and the colour-coded enemies were stupid. The Definitive Edition is the real deal. That said, it is basically streamlined but less complex than DMC4 Dante.

***** Well in DMC3 Dante grows as a character, too. In the beginning he doesn't care much about what would happen to humanity and towards the end he shows more compassion and responsibility, while keeping his cocky demeanor intact. This Dante isn't really that much different in that regard, I think because he constantly swears, that's why these people call him unlikeable. While in fact he does go through similar character development as the old Dante.

KalvinEllis Honestly I was alright with the swears. The way he did it just makes me laugh, and understand his reactions. And most of the time he swears to only to the demons, but still had compassion for demons like Phineas and was shocked to hear that he has to kill Lilith. His development is similar to DMC3 Dante, but he is more like the Dante that would exist in our world today.

I don't know...This Dante was pretty crappy, and don't even get started with Virgil. Virgil's iteration was beyond garbage. The whole brotherly relationship was not needed, and the cursing was highly unnecessary. Like this Dante was going to clubs, sleeping with tons of chicks. Sorta takes away from the epic Demon killing demeanor.

After starting the charge, release the button while you are attacking, If you cancel in the work of other before you shoot, you can maintain a charge even if you release the button. For example, 1) Charge start → avoid → release tha button → jump or atack（Before Rico shot out） 2）Charge start → Rebellion △△△ →　release the button → high time（Before Rico shot out）

i change my pad layout for that i have shot on Rb/R1 for ps3 and move lock on to Lb/L1 and move devil trigger to Square so its easier to charge while comboing

Dawill44 it's too much of a hassle. basically dodge just after a charge and enter a sword combo, if you do it you can maintain a "buttonless charge" and free yourself up for more combos. just tap the gun button to release the charged shot.

You can cancel its attack out with the aquila's heavy attack, rebellions light charge attack, eryx's charge attacks, charge heavy attack with osiris or trinity smash with arbiter. I find using kablooey or revenant to be useful as well

Fireworks While Holding down a Rico Shot. HOW?

You can use fireworks while charging rico shot,you just can't shoot the shotgun because you're still charging the rico shot.you can switch guns while charging.you can charge the shotgun,then switch to ebony and ivory and do the rainstorm.
