Very short combos and transitions are not necessary for a combo mad vid...

can't really look and call this much of 'combo' gameplay when really all you did was jump cancel/attack cancel, with 2-3 moves over n over in the air... that's repetitive, bland, lacks and variety... you have a whole arsenal of moves and tactics to chain together, both on ground and the air,

Akiruu That's because of the Concentration Jauge MAX and Super Vergil. And as you need it to perform every wanted move... Doesn't prevent us to be creative !

AlintheBAWS73 bruh he's jump cancelling, not using air trick. It accomplishes the same thing(cancelling attacks) but is faster and doesn't have the lag that air trick does.

Bull1the1Great you need the ability "enemy step" which is purchased like any other move. that allows you to jump off of enemies as a sort of double jump. What makes it good is that you can use it to not only interrupt moves to speed up combos, but it also refreshes any abilities that can only be used a set number of times in the air(including double jumping, in dante's case all of his trickster air moves, etc.) you have to be quite close to enemies to be able to do it and it takes a bit of practice to figure out the timing for individual moves, but what it enables you to do is mind boggling.

How do you do the instant Judgement Cut?

Dinakol You have to do a "Just Judgement Cut", which involves releasing the Judgement Cut the instant it begins charging. The timing is really tight, but the damage is ridiculous.
