This art doesnt make sense. I suppose the author wanted to show dante and vergil fighting, so the author chose a bind position, where 2 sword are clasged against each other. But this isnt even it. Dante is fucking attacking air with the blade of his sword and vergil is just blocking his blade from going upwards. All vergil needs to do is strike and aside from jumping back or dodging, but given vergil's speed its unlikely Dante can dodge it. And do anyone saying Dante can attack with the backside of his sword, and that's why vergil is blocking him on the picture. Even if forces are equal dante would have to stand at the right side of vergil, not his left
