True, they were. MoriSeikis are rock solid and high precision machines but way too slow for modern machining. It was a good idea to fuse with DMG so they can benifit from eachother.

@@fabioth283 Where would you disagree? Modern machines from dmg with linear drives and high rpm spindles would just outrun the old ball screw driven moris with slow rpm spindles.

@@C.D.2288 i know it,im a constructor of milling machines with linear drive.i said later Mori never see a good quality of tools machine,just Okuma.also some lathe constructor copy the carriages of the Mori of 1988,because have a good size and sistem of that.

DMG MORI left Russia after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, they has no business or production plant in Russia anymore, It was a great move by DMG MORI to not work in a country that invades another country and commit genocide on a regular basis there.
