EA isn't broken they just figured out how to manipulate the playerbase in the most lucrative way possible. Why would they provide a consumer friendly product if the consumer buys it regardless and makes them more money every year? FC isn't that much of a p2w game of you don't compete for money it's more of a pay for convenice game and to make the most money with such a game they have to create inconvenience for the consumer and make it as addictive as possible at the same time.

Just think for a second - FIFA players are content with their bought property (an old FIFA/EAFC game) being devalued significantly after a few years because the company that owns the servers "said so"... If the majority of FIFA players had a wider view of the situation this ridiculous situation of servers going down after a couple of years would not be possible. NickRTFM has talked a lot about this and I think his thought process makes sense: If critical content creators don't play the game, there will be less of a critical voice in the space, leaving the supporters to have the largest influence on the community. As a regular person I'm deciding not to buy the game next year, but as a content creator with a following I think it's worth it as it can help people hear both sides of the story.

I've realized that games that involve grinding for RNG loot do a nasty thing to my brain chemistry. It feels like hunger that occasionally gets fed but ultimately more than anything, causes overstimulation and crashing. I've played 1000s of hours of Fortnite, Ultimate Team, The Division, and Fallout, and they have all caused me to feel this way such that ultimately I'd rather play other games instead. With time, I've realized that the sensation I've felt has to be a symptom of something approaching gambling addiction. I've always been very financially disciplined, so this hasn't cost me anything except my peace of mind, but chasing the dopamine hits isn't healthy when they're intentionally designed to be as sweet and as fleeting as possible. Also a note on FUT specifically... why would I grind for a great team only to be matched up against only other overpowered teams. When they turn everyone's pace up to 95, no one is fast if everyone is fast. All it does is make the field smaller, which given the clunky momentum system, makes gameplay in the middle of the field worse and incentivizes cheese.

UFL has thankfully been delayed to December 5, 2024. More development time will be allowed because of this. I think its also smart because the UCL LP will be in 6 out of it's 8 matchdays by that point.

@@ganidumasia3526 There are some (not all) licensed clubs. Rangers, West Ham, Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting CP, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monaco, Besiktas and Celtic. So not bad for a small team and AA game (as opposed to AAA which is what FIFA is). As for player names, yes. However if the player has exclusive rights with EA/Konami, they don't fall under FIFPRO therefore not present in UFL. Players like Musiala fall under this condition.

Great watch as always 👊🏿 I walked away at FIFA 21 haven't looked back since. It was a good run, FIFA 02 to 21. But i don't begrudge anyone who buys it, some people find value in it. Personally for me there's far better games out there for those who enjoy gaming. Got so much more value for money out of games like God Of War Ragnarök, Ghost Of Tsushima, Elden Ring, Lies of P, Spiderman 2, Black Myth Wukong etc But yeah you hit the nail on the head for crestors it makes sense. I got football life 24 and 25 is coming out with a new engine. I have all the icons (even the ones not in fc games or fifa) I can add them to any squad I want and play career mode of manager mode with them. I quit playing FC 24 and haven’t looked back.

I gave Efootball a try in the past few days so the new EAFC temptation doesn't get to me. And you know what, it's a better fucking game. Player movements and game speed are actually much more realistic. Playing a 15 minute game won't result in 7-7 draw because it adapt to the time. Players don't look like they're gliding on the pitch or float 3 steps in the air when completing a dribble. Yes the graphics might be horrible but the game is much more relaxing. Efootball doesn't cheat you. And i'm 100% sure that if they had EA's budget they'd make a really good game

I think I honestly might buy the game because I think I got my time spent well by spending 0 dollars on fc24. I got it for ps plus then managed to get Messi, Neymar, Bellingham, Beckham, and mbappe. I had fun grinding out the sbcs and evos in ultimate team. Stupid Volta antics with friends were so much fun. So despite all the red flags, I think I might buy it. I never got into fifa as much because I didn’t feel like buying it. I never played sports games, but these past few sports games that were free with ps plus have me liking sports games now. It’s new and fun. Honestly I wouldn’t convince anyone to buy a game because everyone is different. My friends love sea of thieves, but I don’t find it as much fun and that is fine.

Fifa as a game is genuinely terrible HOWEVER, you can only really see how much you hate the game, how little effort is put into it and how EA sees it only as a money maker when you step away. Fifa is the only football game option and those who love football buy it every year because of their love for football. I stopped playing fifa and picked up RDR2 and after completing the game it opened my eyes to how much EA don't care about the game. What improvements do they add each year? For having a whole year and not making the game from scratch, they barely listen to the FUT community let alone career mode. If there were any other serious competitors to EA the game would either be so much better or would have died ages ago.

What me and my friends are going to do is pay the 17 euros subscription of EA play so we can play FC 25 (the other subscription of 6 euros works to play FC 25 but we want to play it this friday), try one month of the game and see if it's worth our time and money (mainly see if career mode and pro clubs is cool this year, we don't really care about FUT), if it's worth, we'll wait until christmas discount to buy it for 50 bucks, more or less, instead of the initial 70.

I think you should buy the game on sale or during black Friday or, if you don't want to spend even one penny to EA ( i can relate, i haven't bought the game since FIFA 22), you can borrow a content creator's account in order to play the game for like a week so you can properly review the game. It’s a shame because most people at this point in time and within the last 3-4 fifas have only bought the game for the sole purpose of starting a new UT, playing a full gold squad was peak fun and in fc24 specifically it took not even the release. But the 2 weeks early access to break the market. Eafc24 UT died in November and I couldn’t help but regret the purchase. You can’t even enjoy the starting cycle of the new game because your favourite content creator already loaded in 30000 points and is influencing others🤣

Every year at this point I have the same question as to whether I’m going to buy this and hate on it at the same time . I usually alternate years between FUT and clubs and this year is clubs focus . I literally just play manager career and I gotta say the lack of improvements to that game mode from game to game sees me buying the new Fifa/FC game every 3 years or so bc its not worth it unless they've completely overhauled it... and ngl FIFA23 was better than FC24 strictly bc they still had all the licensing to the World Cup

With every FIFA I do the same. I buy the game. I wait for Ultimate Team to calm down with the prices by playing Seasons until I reach and win DIV 1. It usually takes me some time cause with every new FIFA there comes a new cheap tactic. Despite that fact once I reach DIV 1 I got to FUT and start my journey there.

Well, i'll buy it around christmas in a discount price like last year. I only play offline career mode and some frendlies with family and friends, but i still enjoy it. I have like 300 hours in FC24 too, so it's good enough for me. Still missing PES though....

If i am not wrong, you can buy on pc the ea pro abonnement, Play & review the Game, and then cancel the abonnement. It cost 5,99€ per month, so you would give ea a minimum amount of money, but still playing the entire Game. Now it depends on you if you want to Switch for the First 1-3 month on pc or Not. In my opinion it is the best way to really Test the game for cheap.

I decided I am not buying the game this year, gonna have my break season, I play it one year and rest the next, it is really absorbing and stressful game if you wanna be competitive. Now I can play with all the amazing cards I got in fc24 and career mode. Only thing that could make me buy fc25 is if it is under 25€ at Black Friday cause my hometown team is in the game again after many years.

Well i always grinded my ultimate team, but with each fifa being worse and worse, i just start playing UT and the beginning, then when too many promos and cards come out i quit UT untill they release a Bastian Schweinsteiger promo card, come back, grind it, play a WL, then quit again. In the meantime while i "quit", i stick to pro clubs in various pro competitions. Idgaf about that money, i earn more than the game costs in one night of bartending, so yeah, ill buy that shit.. again

Since the beta testers said it’s the same game play. I’m not buying the next one. I’ll just play seasons if there’s no one to match with on ultimate team next year. And further explore other games aside football

Factor in UFL will be free, while it's not great it has until December to iron out creases. I would rather play a buggy game i paid nothing for as opposed to a game that costs a good chunk of change that still has bugs.

I've still played over 400+ hrs of eafc 24 but the majority of that is on pro clubs. I don't play enough of UT and I don't touch career mode anymore because playing the CPU AI is too robotic and boring. Still if I'm playing 400+ hrs of any video game then it's worth buying in my opinion

The ONLY reason I played EA fc 24 was because it was given free on ps monthly games. There is no benefit to buying 25. I was able to start 24 in MARCH and still make my way up to a good team by April. This franchise(UT) is just a perpetual machine you’ll never get ahead of the top players because of bad pack luck, scripting.

FC 25 manager mode is the best by far, I've been playing since Fifa 17 and trust me, look into FC 25 Career mode.

I bought the game to play with friends. Rush mode looks fun and pro clubs is good. Not wasting money on FC points, just trying to have fun because it's just a game.

It is the FANS fault. They keep preordering, buying and microtransacting up the wazoo. A corporate will ONLY change its strategy if it thinks it will A lose money continuing as they are or B make significantly better profit with low risk by making change. You all keep giving them your money which tells them their product is fine and doesnt need to change.

EAs problem is that they modeled the game after fifa mobile where they spam promotions and goofy cards. They are money hungry after all, they half ass the gameplay and invest fully into the money aspect. Too many promotions and poor gameplay has led us to this point.

Alright guys, I'm a Div 1, so I'm going to say how I've been running fifa every year if you didnt know. I stopped worrying about the reset every year because I've concluded its not going to change, I barely buy players and keep playing with my team till I get rewards from packs, sbcs, squad battles, champions etc, you'll lose but thats the game trying to make you gamble. I currently have 800K coins saved and a 96 rated team without opening my wallet once, also before you migrate, sell off all your club items, kits, etc it'll give you some coins. The key here is resist the urge to pay for packs. Often times its not worth it. Endure the trashing and thank God for evolution this year, you’ll get better players later. Besides players are fucking expensive. Just be patient, prices will come down and considering how EA releases sbcs and promo cards you’ll get a high rated squad in no time. Since I clocked this, i barely visit the store

I'm just gonna play modded career mode in FC24 with the 2004/2005 season mod through game pass until the price drops to like 10€ and thats going to be my last FIFA purchase until some insane changes are introduced it's a peaceful life

The fifa game has the most toxic playerbase for a reason Every year the same stupid haters, I am playing this game since 94, so don’t start. Every year the game had gameplay problems, connection problems etc It is addictive? It could be, yes, but me personally don’t have a problem, because IT IS A FREAKIN PERSONAL PROBLEM. If you have a casino on your street, you go and play just because of that? You can have a good team without investing 1 cent in the game. You can just play ultimate team like a F2P and play it for the comedic side of the glitches that’s what I’ve done for the last couple fifas and it’s made UT actually enjoyable

By buying the game. And preventing others from buying it. Not only do you make a revenue from making content around the game during the year. But if you get people to not buy it you also manage to bring down EA's revenue even if just by a little.
