Obviously they couldn't keep Dimitri's backstory the same with the approach in the musical but idk a crowd of thousands just doesn't do it for me. I feel like if maybe there was a line or two in there that Dimitri worked at the palace (like he did in the movie) and Anastasia had been the only one to treat him like a normal kid and that's why he fell for her at the parade, then I'd feel like it'd be a lot better.

There is full part 1 and part 2 available to watch. Just type the full name Anastasia Broadway musical. I've never got a Chance to see The show. But, just watched it 2 days ago. Absolutely in love 😍. Just be warned part 2, sometimes goes out of sync, but if can ignore and just enjoy. Then I would tell you, just enjoy every minute of it xx
