@@erasylnash6697 the sport of boxing is more dangerous… not the actual martial art compared to mma but the damage on the brain Boxing matches can last 12 3 minute rounds so 36 minutes MMA can last 5 5 minute rounds so that’s 25 minutes There is less time to get damaged in mma compared to boxing Also in mma damage is spread out throughout the entire body as apposed to purely head hunting which boxers focus In boxing when you get knocked down the ref gives a standing count of ten and the fight can continue this is why boxing is way more dangerous than mma In mma the referee jumps in immediately when you are hurt and the fight is done not to mention there are ways to opt out of the fight while being submitted (taping to avoid brain damage) I’m mma you are more likely to suffer cuts bruises broken bones but in boxing you are more likely to suffer long term brain damage Lots of boxers die each year but in mma very few recorded deaths per year and zero deaths recorded in the biggest mma organization (ufc) All because of the reasons I mentioned So yes the sport of boxing is more dangerous for your brain than mma is But the actual martial art is not
