If Bivol can win this fight, he could offer Canelo a rematch at 168 instead for all the marbles. Imagine the hype on that! Boxing is only one win away from changing the trajectory of a career. Bivol would be a WC again irrespective of what happens on Saturday, but imagine if he dethroned Canelo's winning streak and set up an undisputed fight at 168 with Canelo!!! Bivol has previously stated he could make 168 because he makes 175 pretty easy. That makes things pretty interesting should this be a close fight where Bivol gets a result. Even a draw. Canelo is elite. No doubting that. If I was Bivol though, I'd go in there and give it everything. No need to be mentally tired here. This is an opportunity of a lifetime! He could set himself up for real. And at his age, with his physical advantages, if he believes and doesn't fatigue in the fight from Canelo's pressure, I think this is a lot more dangerous than it looks for Canelo. That's assuming Canelo will pressure. I think we'll find out within 2 rounds what Canelo will do but that's irrelevant to Bivol 'cos he's just going to have to use his skills, and demand respect. Whether Canelo hits him with a good shot or a sneaky left, Bivol can't be afraid to trade. GGG busted Canelo's eye up 'cos he traded with him. If you try to outpoint Canelo, he just breaks you down and/or knocks you out systematically. Callum Smith was broke down round after round to a points victory. Saunders, Plant and Kovalev fatigued and then banged out of there. Bivol has to believe. Can he do it????
