Great video, his footwork you mentioned is an Eastern European style known as a pendulum step alternating between shifting weight on the front and back foot

@@ChampChamp2024 exactly sir, you can see bivol naturally starts that rhythm whether on the punchbag or shadowboxing/boxing it looks simple but is hard to do and easy to time coming in if your not sharp enough

Shadowboxing, broad jumps, lateral skater jumps, squat jumps, push-up hops, pushup isometrics, any lat work like pull-ups and bodyweight rows, and abs. Punch force develops at the feet so being able to jump and explode is key. Strong strong core is also very important. Also find a way to work a bag or pads to develop the snap on your punches. Oh and sprints which will increase overall speed, power, and conditioning. Conditioning is also very important to punch power, for power endurance throughout a fight as well as keeping you more relaxed with a lower heart rate. If you can invest in a 15-20 lb medicine ball and you can really elevate plyos. Hope all this helps

Love your content I have a question. I´m an amature boxer and boxing coach. I mostly have younger guys and people with under 20 fights. The boxer fighting are practising 5-6 times a week just as a hobby and some might move to something more I struggle to find good exercises to increase strength/stamina/speed that everyone can do in a group setting for either the start or end of practise, I cant expect teenagers or new amatures to spend even more time in the gym and come for special strength and conditioning practies and I really dont wanna loose out on the boxing aspect. We do all sorts of ball throwing at the end of many practises but thats about it. Any suggestions? Should I make one of the practises only for conditioning and strength. Would love your thoughts on a more casual/amature-ish aspect of boxing science.

Do a world champion's training methods really need validation from a guy who looks like a worm with eyes?

There is no need to insult someone. Why not argue with data and science. Insulting someone just shows ignorance and insecurities

@@jovil666 You make a good point, but the pretense of this presenter got to me. My point stands. We don't need unimpressive people promoting their own alleged expertise by approving the habits of proven elite athletes. He seems to be milking someone else's proficiency to allege his own.
