Great review Dmitry! We are happy to see it blow you away in gloss, slickness and ease of use. We do suspect that its durability may be the result of a spoiled coating resin. We guarantee that this will last 100+ washes based on our own testing and other validation so would love to send out another bottle for additional testing if you're up for it!

Thanks Tim, not sure if my message will post im on plane wifi, but I will absolutely retest. I realize manufacturing tolerances are an issue; For example Lithium Cubes had a similar problem. Shoot me a new sample and I will test it.

@@dmitrydovidenko5630 ope! I've been using Griot's ceramic speed shine to dry my car and find the protection lasts through my next wash in 2 weeks. I tried their 3 in 1 ceramic wax, it's pretty interesting with the polymer in it! Wonder how durable this stuff is. Are we able to send you the last couple ounces of our products for testing? I hope your day is going well, Dmitry!

Ive used this as a topper to my ceramic coated car.. nice product... the defy product of thiers is the real winner in the lineup
@DmitrysGarage2 жыл бұрын
I like the Defy a lot too. Its a great product. Resist has a lot of good qualities too. Sounds like you’re enjoying it as a topper, which I think is the strong suit.

Used this as a topper for an Adams Advanced coating, waited for it to cure a whole night and then applied it again. The car was already sparkling with the ceramic and this made it pop unbelievably hard. I'm doing it super right with this car it has been curing in the garage and sunlight for 6 days now 😂

I used this product on a freshly washed, decontaminated, and panel prepped car. Wanted to try it out along with their Ceramic Wax. Covered the roof and hood in the wax, and Resist for every other panel. Two days later, it rained heavily all day. The car was outside. Once the rain stopped, there was virtually no protection on the paint. It was seemingly washed off. I've been detailing since '06 and have used all kinds of products. Never seen anything like it. Not even with a beauty wax that might last 7-10 days. This was a first.

I've been using Resist for 18 months in the UK and I it's a great topper for Fusso Coat and Sonax BSD . It really add a nice glow to my grey and silver cars. It smells nice, it's super easy to use and it delivers unparalleled gloss and slickness. I'm no Dmitry but I've tested a lot of consumer grade LSPs in the past 7 years. BTW I'm now getting to the half of my first bottle. I use it once a month or so on a sports car and mid-size SUV. You can easily get more than 20 applications from a bottle as a little goes a long way.

Cool, appreciate the insight. I'm sure it will help a lot of other people deciding on the product. I'll be doing more testing with it, Ethos is sending me a new bottle as mine was from an older batch. So we'll see if the new batch is any different.

Hope you're doing well Dmitry! This product had poor durability for me last year right before and during winter, but I'll still be using the last of my bottle up soon
@DmitrysGarage2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I think it has some great qualities, but durability is not it’s strong suit. The slickness, ease of use and gloss retention is top notch. You might like it as a spot treatment or general topper for other products. I do agree its not the strongest standalone as I also value durability.

Dmitry, can you test Sonax Xtreme Ceramic Spray Coating? It's fairly cheap but there isn't much test about that product.

Why did this score 35 points vs 30 for the last coat 2.0? Is this really 5 points better?
@DmitrysGarage2 жыл бұрын
Cindy, always a pleasure seeing you :-). The scoring is tailored to what I hear most from other enthusiasts, but really these products are so multifaceted. It’s hard to use just a single score. I always recommend comparing the website table so you can decide which factors matter to you. The Ethos Resist is much easier to use. It is also prettier and slicker. Now the TLC 2.0 is much more durable, but what matters to you most?

Seems like an overpriced topper from the reviews I've seen. Just wonder if the average person got a bottle with spoiled ceramics if they would send them a free bottle. Have not seen a longevity test where it lasts. Generally it's the worst of the multiple products tested. My guess is the bottle will last a year after multiple applications. Not one application lasting a year.

Kinda disappointed on this product. Besides lack of durability the price point is way to high.we all seen retail products outlast and perform these overpriced products. B well brother

Compared to which products? Resist offers more gloss, slickness, durability and ease of use compared to its competitors while coming in at a lower Price point. It won’t be the cheapest on the market but as with anything you get what you pay for.
