I’ve seen some cheap multimeters, around £6. They looked like they were made out of recycled toys, cables were stiff like cat’s tail and readings were off by a lot. I used to work in a shop that was selling virtually the same multimeter (just different colour) for £20. Whenever there was a customer asking for one I’d send them to the shop across the street where they’d pick it up for £6, or another electronics store that had much better multimeter for £20 as well. Now looking at this review I’d say it’s a lot better than the one I’ve mentioned in my comment. And as you said, that would be perfect for a youngster starting up in electronics! Auto ranging between different modes threw me off and I was sitting there gobsmacked 🤷‍♂️ it looks awesome! Greetings from UK!

This is a perfect first meter for my 80-year-old dad. Auto beep for continuity, flashlight and especially the non-contact testing. When he spends half the year in his RV in Florida. I get a lot of "the fuse looked good" phone calls. Phone calls are nice but a meter in his hand would be great. At $8 you can't go wrong.

Not a bad little unit for 8 bucks, I still can't believe they included Duracell batteries a $500 TV don't even get you decent batteries. I like some of the features like the built in light and non contact voltage. I'm from Western New York

Sorry to contact you this way but out of place at the moment I help some help I watch your video and have learn a lot you awesome form sharing But I have a Chevy cluster from a Silverado that the oil gauge did not work so you know went and rebuilt the whole cluster stepper motor clean traces and bulb when put back in only thing work was some lights and the tach nothing of the oil fuel volt temp gushes work I went back and recheck but I don’t see nothing I did can you help have any insight to WhT I might do thanks

Normally when I hear of problems like this it's because the traces were removed from the board when the old stepper motors were removed. The solder pad that the stepper motor solder to might be missing now.

@@jeffescortlx Yes o have ohm all out from the stepper motor to make sure I did not do that I have run into that before but usually one not all 4 steppers motors
