DMR - Progaming a DMR Radio with CPS for the Brandmeister Network and Jumbo HotSpot!

In this episode of RadioTech we will be using the CPS software to program the BaoFeng DM-1701 hand-held radio (see more here: radiotech.diy3dtech.com/baofen... )for DMR us on the Brandmeister network with the Jumbo Hotspot (see more here: radiotech.diy3dtech.com/MMDVM-... ) as this a very affordable combo to jump into DMR. Also, while focused on the DM-1701 by Baofeng, it seems that many Chinese radio are the same and also use the CPS software for program this may work for other CPS programmed radios too.
Update: As briefly mentioned in the video, if you still have issues, change TOT[s] on the Channel page to 300. Also I will update the downloadable PDF with changes as they become available (link below).

Hi, I have a question about entering the RX and TX frequencies in the channel settings. Frequency copies from repeater information from brandmeister.network/. Do I enter the RX and TX frequencies as they appear on the page or do I have to swap them in the CPS program? Thank you in advance and best regards Michal

Is there a work around for uploading the contact user database requiring Microsoft Excel ?

Love the feel of my Dm-1701 now if I can get it to work correctly. Watched your programming video and when I key the radio I see myself in Pi-Star and I am heard in BM. Problem is I get a Access denied and the a screen pops up and says private call. Thing is only Parrot is marked private everything else is group calls. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you set your hotspot security password in the Brandmeister self-care? That is required now.

I was having trouble with adding DMR+ network. I got no return traffic at all, even from parrot. I decided to come back to it later, and all of a sudden, echo is working. I think some things take a little bit to register
