I have a couple OS la 40 silver on a sig high wing trainer, and 46 blue on a Kaos low wing sport plane both from the 90s still going strong. 👍 very cool stuff 😁

I really love those vintage and not so vintage engines, I just bought an OS Max 40 FS and a K&B 40, both new or very low time.

I love this 65LA. I had one (blue) long ago. It will outperform the 61FX if you have to use 12x8 or 13x6 props for noise emission reasons. The silver color looks great and shows the sweet shape of this engine. I have refurbished a 46LA and had the engine glass bead blasted. Looks really beautiful.

For some reason the 65 size just makes it look more 'bad ass' than the 40 and smaller LA's. I like this engine!

Both engines are very cool, the OS 40 vintage is in perfect shape, the OS 65 LA is a very strong running engine, super reliable.

Didn't know they made the 65 LA in silver. I thought the 65's were all blue.
