Hi mate, thanks for the video. I have an issue with my OS SF .46; the idle is not steady; it goes high after deceleration and slowly goes with less rpm but it does not die. Can you please advise?

Well typically when the idle slowly goes lower and lower it is an indication of the low speed being rich. When your engine gets to the lowest RPM, how is the transition to full throttle?

The engine hesitates before getting high RPMs. And due to that, I made it a bit lean. And it went well but the engine stall during one landings afterwards.

Your condition sounds a bit rich to me. Generally if an engine idling slowly increases in RPM and then dies, it is lean. Conversely if it slowly loses RPM then it is rich. While losing RPM put the glow ignitor on it. If the RPM increases and steadies then it is too rich. You may just need to disassemble it and clean it thoroughly and start over.

Thanks mate, I will definitely try it.

Yes, it was in Idel and I managed to tune it but there is a problem I think with the high speede setting; What is happening is that when I fly for about 6 minuits, the engine suddenly die in the air. Each time after the engine dies, heaps of fuel come from the muffeller. However, the high speed needle had been adjusted prior to flying as a bit towards the rich side. Can you please advise whey the engine dies in the air and come back to earth with fule in the muffler? Thanks in advance.

Hi David, i love your video,s, but this engine like al the OS 61 FSR have a Nicasil liner, and the run way better with a tune pipe

The liner doesn't matter for a pipe, the port timing matters.
