LMAO! For anyone who doesn’t understand how sarcastically funny Gleadogg’s comment is....it’s long been “debated” whether or not TooL “plays to a click”...meaning “if the band utilizes audio cues to essentially stay on the correct timing”. TooL has never and likely never will “play to a click” but a click certainly does play to Danny Carey and it still gets off its timing as Danny plays on.

there are 13 elegant vectors in 3 dimensional space including the mutually perpendicular 3 that define it. Danny has 1 brain, and 12 limbs that each occupy 1/13th of his brain space. the rest is musical thoughts and intuitive rhythms from spaces unknown. important edit: each of those vectors actually meets at the origin obviously so technically, he actually has 26 limbs, but one of them is his head, so he has 25 limbs that all occupy 1/26th of his brain space. and that last 26th is enough rhythm to turn back time.

A paced melodic line with his right hand, with a slower back beat hi hat over snare with his left in odd meter. A man born to do this, with a lifetime of training, at the absolute top of his game, performing a song so perfect for him it may have been created by a higher power. It doesn't get better than this,

I get chills when I see a Master giving a class. Sharing knowledge like this. Ladies and Gentlemen. Papa Carey in the building! MASTERCLASS!

Thank you Vic Firth. Great channel to follow. Perhaps the best up close drumming excellence since Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. I'd kill for a John Bonham live drum cam video like this.

@@dmusiclife5727 I'm 68 and have seen nearly all the great rock drummers. BR was my first drum god, DC will likely be my last. Not a bad pair to draw to.

When I first heard pnuema, I knew I loved it! Over time I know this song like that back of my hand & sing it loud & proud. Watching it live was totally different. Standing 3 layers deep from the stage, close enough to see there facials & witnessing how each individual works as a team & compliment each other's talents to create this piece, was mind blowing. The whole song I just stood there, smiling from ear to ear with tears streaming down my cheeks & that double base reverberating through my feet & pounding my heart. Awesome reaction guy's, you brought me back to that moment watching you 2❤. Thanks also to those 4 individuals that shared 20+yrs of their lives for us all & the awesome feelings you have given me since 93'✌
