I cant even speak to how great the reaction is... the eyes wide open... the looks... and the fact this has been on rotation for me for 30 yrs

You my friends fucking get it. I've watched multiple reactions to this song and most people don't fucking get it. This is the best music ever made. I have been listening to nine inch nails for 30 years. Hands down the most brilliant creative lyrical and Sonic genius the world has ever seen. And his performances you just have to wonder how the hell somebody has that much fucking energy. His music moves you like no other. Enjoy the rabbit hole. For people who have lived an easy life and who have never experienced any kind of pain and suffering, this music will not register with them. For the rest of us, his music is beautifully cathartic.

DEP joined NIN on stage for the performance of Wish at the ‘farewell’ show in LA prior to the short hiatus Trent put the band into. Greg from DEP ended up in the crowd, drum kits were sent flying & it was totally epic.

You my friends get it. I've been listening to nine inch nails for 30 years. Trent is a musical, lyrical, Sonic, visiual, performance art genius. This entire album is pure unadulterated rage. The album cover being nothing but fire speaks volumes. His concerts are the most energetic performances I've ever seen in my life. His music is for those people who have experienced pain and suffering. If you have never experienced any of that, you just don't get it. His music makes you feel and it connects with so many people. Enjoy going down the rabbit hole. His music has helped so many people get through some very dark times. Perhaps the most cathartic album ever made. And that saying a lot, with masterpieces such as pretty hate machine, and the downward spiral.

Dillinger Escape Plan was such a cool band, they were the "grandfathers" of mathcore but they also had some REALLY catchy pop songs that could've been radio hits.

If you like this you NEED to see the Lights in the Sky tour. Specifically "The Big Come Down" but literally any song from the shows is beyond amazing. I'd seen a lot of shows before that one, but it was a legit life-changing experience.

One thing you need to realize about Wish live is that during the climaxes, the stage would be BLINDLY bright. During many of the live shows there'd be smoke on stage too, so the whole thing would be blown out with light. You'd just see outlines of them on stage. The only reason you could see them clearly was because the camera was already on stage. NIИ live really is an experience.

Guys, not that you've been presented, you REALLY should check Dillinger. Their #1 absolute hit is "43% Burnt". Album version for the classic, live at furnace fest for the absolute madness, last show ever for something in between. Oh, and just saying : don't forget to lose your minde to Frontierer - The Molten Larva. The neutron star heavyness guitar tones and rythmics will blast your mind away.
@BigVoidinLittleWizard3 жыл бұрын
DEP did an album with Mike Patton singing, it's wild. They did a sick cover of Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy" on that album. I also recommend the song "43% Burnt" off of Calculating Infinity, ya ain't heard anything like it.

Wish is their VERY BEST TRACK for when they play live, it is UNBEATABLE. The only way for them to do it justice is for them to COMPLETELY trash the stage and the audience as well really. Whether it's just Trent and the regular live band or, as here, with a guest, this is pretty typical for them with Wish ...
