People need to be always prepared in the winter months, never be lower than 1/2 a tank of gas. Always have a bag of supplies like a tin can or 2 and several candles, matches, blankets and snacks. If you get stuck in the car you’ll have the heat from the candle to keep your hands warm. 🥂🙏

It's obviously because this is very large, compared to what alot of people been getting on the east coast. Especially the dmv area, we've been going through extreme snow droughts for years. Places getting no more than half a inch of snow the entire winter season. So if we're gonna rank this by a "it's nothing compared to-" standards. Neither of this storm, or the one you listed was nothing compared to blizzard we had here in Maryland. That left us with 33 inches of snow. The bar can be raised. Lol

Pull out searching for bread and shovels? Really? It's going to be a one-day storm, within 24 hours the roads will be clear enough to drive safely. This isn't a major blizzard that's going to bring snow for entire week or anything like that. If you don't have enough food or whatever in your house to make it through one day, I think the snow is the least of your problems. Let's be real here people, this isn't anything crazy. Yes we haven't had a lot of snow in this area in a few years, but it's just going to be one day. Let's not be over dramatic here...
