How things have changed since the late 70s Deadwood was a box canyon one way out, my partners battery conked out and the cops boosted it, and to get away from the crowds I decided to ride and go exploring and next thing I'm at devils tower, no map only stoping along the way asking locals where I am and of course having a a beer at every little grocery store, Im now in Mexico drunk reminiscing about the old days,

It happens lol. Good to have pepper spray, but I've never had to use it. When a dog starts chasing you while you're riding, steer towards it and they'll always back off

How many miles you getting out of a chain?

Currently going strong on the original chain, 21k miles. I use WD40 to clean/ displace water, then Lucas chain lube. I lube it religiously.

Spearfish is also one of my favorites in that part of SD. I plan on doing a more detailed ride in the Big Horn National Forest next year to find some new locations. Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to more.
