To be honest DMX has never been the same since Aaliyah ( babygirl) left this Earth . Since she passed away 😢 he seems as though if he is unable too function , he stated in an interview once he was lost without her being here on Earth . He really misses her . DMX is a broken soul trying to find his way . I respect him for knowing his wrongs admitting them and I give him props for trying to help or repair himself .after all he is human

goddamn man, this guy has been through so much. when I was a teenager I listened to hip hop and r and b all of the time. I remember in middle school I won a contest at a local fair and got a dmx picture that I had in my room all through high school. I don't listen to that kind of music anymore but I can still appreciate his songs 'slippin' and 'who we be'
