@@indiesongwriter5474 i mean if you listen to kendrick without reading along the lyrics, you will miss so much of what he says because his voice is nice and clear, its like a knock off lil wayne voice, but when reading along, you understand it perfectly, in the case of Cole, his songs sounds like your friend telling you a story normally, u can hear and underrstand each word clearly and perfectly and when trying to say what he said back you can only say it exactly the way J cole said it. for example, Humble of Kendrick, the inro you can barely hear what he says if you dont have the words infront of you. Kendricks songs when written down is pure class, he just doesnt perform and record as neatly as J cole, Eminem, Tupac, DMX, Kanye etc. he isnt a mumble rapper but he sounds like one.
