If you listen to DMX his drug addiction got worse when he started making money but now he's no longer on drugs. He slipped a couple times but got right back up. The way he acts and how jittery he is, that comes from long term drug use. He's been on cocaine since 14 years old and he's now in his 40's. That's A LOT of years abusing drugs.

I have a lot of addicts in my family and I know when someone is high. He’s clearly high right here. DMX has many coherent interviews. This isn’t one. Any true X fan can tell the difference when he was sober or not. This isn’t disrespect to his legacy. DMX is an ICON and a legend. Where he started is not where he finished but we have to be real with where ppl we love are in life at the moment that they are there so maybe we can help them not get to a tragic end. Like Swizz said at the memorial service, if ppl did more, showed more concern and love when he was here, maybe we wouldn’t be here now. I love DMX. He was a man of God, a true prophet. And because he was that, the devil tested him most. But we gotta start grabbing our ppl up when we see them like this and loving them hard before it’s too late

Now that he's died, his fans are still defending him as if they know him personally. Saying things like: "He was a good family man and he loved all his family and his children" my ❓ is: how do you know? Anytime your own son (Xavier)wants to kill you if you do one more thing to his mom, I question how much love is dad truly giving. Tasheera (ex-wife) said that she knew she had to leave DMX when Xavier reached the point of wanting to kill him and dmx having 7 kids with other women while married to her

I hear what he's saying...Iyanla needed to work with DMX *in private.* That was very delicate situation, and she needed to forsake "getting good ratings" over the real issues that plagued him and his family. You could see she was loosing her cool, as he was very stubborn, rude, and full of pride (not the good kind) but she is suppose to be the therapist and she lost it...she let her ego dictate the words that came out of her mouth about him "never being able to speak to her ever again", that was a bit much, and that was *her* pride showing itself and (not the good kind)...

lorettalynn Davis RATINGS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM GETTING THE HELP THAT HE NEEDS!! Drugs & alcohol have taken over his life, obviously you judge Iyanla but have you seen her video of him stating he wasn't drinking or doing drugs but then admitted he did both before entering his son & ex-wife gathering? 🤷🏽♂️
@TilTheBreakADawn6 жыл бұрын
lorettalynn Davis If he wanted "private" then don't agree to do a televised show. Very simple. However, there did seem to be a basic question in my mind about what the focus/topic their interaction was agreed to be. It seemed like X did not share the same understanding about what they were all there for and, especially, Iyanla's role.

I fkn Love DMX. He has always spoke like this. Every time I watched and listened to DMX during an interview I would always sit on the end of my seat cause I half expected him to break out into a song/rap. DMX's regular talking sounds better than todays average bullshyt rappers.

DMX is messed up in the head because of playing the perpetuate victim's role. It's EVERY BODY's fault but his according to him. He is doing what comes natural and focusing on Iyanla instead of himself. The sad thing about this is the fact he will continue to create more victims like himself wherever he goes. Like snails, folk like him leave a trail. I am not impressed with his antics. The only thing he managed to do is tell his son that he did not see what he saw and did not hear what he heard. Children's' minds are like CD and DVD, they record everything. This is why it is easier for a child to learn a second language in a few weeks, and it takes us years. My background is in counseling. No counselor would agree with everything Iyanla says or does, but she is far better than Dr. Phil. She gets down to the meat of where it is at. The woman probably learn how to read people from her upbringing. She is really good!

You are so right!!! I'm noticing a pattern by him when he's talking. He takes no responsibility, lives in denial, impulsivity and lack of emotional discipline had him in and out of jail. he's 49yrs old and just died at 50 and went out crying and still blaming the guy who laced his blunt with crack for why he's still on drugs. I hope he's finally at peace now.

Nicole Lawson it’s tragic!! DMX mental development is of a 13/14 teenage boy. As this is the age he started abusing drugs !! Sadly this the stage he’s stuck at. He never learn’t to control his emotions as that is part of growing up into a healthy young adult. Also he didn’t have a father so he didn’t have any real support !! DMX is also bipolar.

DMX need to do a life movie for all to understand his life, this man has a story to tell. If you stop and really listen to his heart speak he is in not only pain, he is also lonely and fearful. the tough roll is a cover up of what he truly feels. I seen him speak when he was not high compare to him being high, and he is high in this video. check out his interview when he was in locked up for months and his system was clean, his mind is so clear and he speak from the heart in it.

RIP DMX. Its so sad to see a great vessel of God. Be taken advantage of in so many ways. When I listen to all the interviews comments insults etc. One thing for sure he was a Gifted loving person. With a drug addiction. And a shout out to those that really love him. I love his conversation he was real and gifted. And this will live on. As a spiritual believer. I have peace knowing he is In Gods Loving Hands. No more fake people. RIP DMX. JESUS LOVES YOU and so Do I.

i thought Iyanla treated him with respect, he just couldn't handle her telling him the truth, drugs can make people paranoid and i think that was the case with him. i hope one day he is ready to accept help. praying 4 you DMX

Bottom line, he was high on Iyanla's show and he is high now. To tell his son that he doesn't want a relationship with him with conditions that he must get clean is denying his flesh and blood period! This is a son he says he loves. He isn't asking for help; he doesn't want any. Jumpy, can't sit still and cannot speak. I struggled the whole time trying to figure out what he said because his words are all muffled. He is disrespectful and has a pot mouth. He needs much help........ and yeah, if he doesn't get help they probably will get the call he is gone.

@sunshinechica66263 жыл бұрын
What pissed him off is #1 didn't make him aware that his son would be there. Regardless, of his addiction DMX is real. He's definitely going to let you know what it is good or bad. 2nd Iyanla telling his son what to say. I feel it would have been a great show had Iyanla be forthcoming with him from the jump. She may have been the person to save DMX. They have some things in common far as addiction. With the Auntie approach, he came ready to listen and open up. He honestly just needed the love of his mother. He couldn't get past that. My heart aches for DMX.
