at 3:17 you just said that nitrogenous base was all carbons! Ouch. I'm teaching this to my kids now. Would love an updated version of this one!! It's dated compared to your new material :)

And around 5:18 you have your sugars mirrored instead of flipped antiparallel. And you have phosphates bonding to carbon 2 instead of carbon 3. I don't have a leg to stand on, I'm not out there making bio videos! But these are a few mistakes I see in an otherwise great video!

Sorry, you're right. I'm realizing that this totally was not clear the way I said it! What I meant was that the corners in a drawing like this one represent carbons unless otherwise stated. Memorizing the exact structure of the base, learning about purines vs pyrimidines etc, was outside of the course I was teaching at the time, so I didn't bother to draw them all in. In retrospect I probably should have been less lazy ; )
