The faucet/deposit line is likely a reference to the Butter Remix Lawsuit - when Megan’s old label was demanding 100k in fees for her feature when BTS and Megan had already agreed to swap. BTS joined in Megan’s lawsuit against her label and won. It was through the lawsuit that ARMY first learned of the Butter Remix collab btw.

RM doesn't come out until next summer (early) - i've heard that some of his lyrics for this were inspired by Megan's own issues she had with her label back when she collab'd with BTS on BUTTER - they originally tried to keep her from doing the feature but she worked through legal matters to get her way because she wanted to do it - so there is a general feeling that some of the clap back is to those on her label who tried to suppress her voice... but again, he hasn't said anything about it for sure I don't think so it is just our interpretation at this point. LOVE the ending song LOLOLOL

Yeah... this feels like a flex track, but not mad at all. RM was hot hot hot. Even with Megan flaunting her hotness. Sheesh.... And others have already explained bars supporting Megan's legal win etc. His new stuff is amazing, but his old stuff... I don't know what all Sleep has heard too, but have you guys seen his old stuff like the All Force One festival back in 2015. 9 years ago! If you haven't seen it yet, Sleep, you guys could have fun watching it? They have some with Eng Subs. Varnell is right... not hearing ARMY shocked by this performance... he's been doing it since he was 13! His early stuff with all the pangs of youth and pent up frustration at the haters... made some intense and amazing songs. Obviously he's evolved, which is what makes him one of the greatest ever. But those old songs are something inspiring to watch as well. It was really fire. On the side... just gotta say... still hurts the way Varnell says "their gonna get more credit after this." Like they needed Megan. What you say is somewhat true... more people will discover them just like they did after the Wale collab, the JCole collab, the Lil Simz, Pak Anderson, Coldplay etc collabs... but each artist they collab with likely collect more ARMY than BTS collects of their fans. And either way... the industries keep them pigeon holed into KPOP. And most Americans can't move past that misguided label. Grammy won't recognize RPWP unless there are stipulations... like putting into a KPOP category (despite the album having nothing to do with KPOP but that the artist is from Korea... much like JK and his album Golden... absolutely NOTHING about that KPOP... just plain POP and he did it flawlessly). And it just frustrates me more that anyone still even wants a Grammy. Even if they get nominated for what they deserve... to me, they are of no indication the true value of the artists or the art produced. I'm sure everyone already mentioned as well... I'm unusual in that I have always had trouble understanding lyrics. And lyrics have always been very important to me. I'm unusual in that way, as well. When BTS found me and I discovered that all of their MVs have English subtitles, even on their all in English songs, I became used to being able to read and understand the songs. But this MV is American (sigh) and they have never bothered with subtitles/closed captions, so I couldn't understand all of the lyrics, despite it all being in English. All it has is the auto caption, which means it doesn't work at all. It is a thing now in the US that more people are using closed captions-you can look it up-because of sound effects, audio quality, etc, so people making MVs should make sure that captions are available. All that to say that it took a few days for the English lyrics to appear on Genius or other places, so it took awhile for me to understand the song. Again, lyrics are important to me. I do understand why you didn't catch all the lyrics.
