2:30 A bonding with T and C bonding with G is called Watson-Crick base pairing, when human names are used. Chargaff's Rule was similar, but different: it only said that the amount of adenine is equal to the amount of thymine, and the amount of cytosine is equal to the amount of guanine. It does not attempt to explain why, and doesn't involve base pairing. It is one piece of information that Watson and Crick used to come up with their model, which had A bonding with T and C bonding with G.

This should probably clarify that copying 6.5 billion bp is for humans and a few other species, but genome size varies greatly across life. I guess this must be implied by this being a medical focused channel but some users might over-generalize from this. Great video!
