The daughter tried to push another man as her father but the mother was adamant that man was not. All in all the mother was right. The daughter has a grudge against her mother, may be deserve, but she goes against everything her mother says.

I don't think family counseling will work. The first episode showed how nasty and spiteful the mother is. At one point when her daughter was really young, she told her something like "Every man on the street is your daddy and you need to stop asking and trying to get attention."

In addition, my comment is for reaching beyond just this episode. It's about the sanctimonious judgement many children put on their parents when they become adults. They unfortunately, problem get the same from their children and then they will go back and apologize and say things like, "I understand now." Hopefully, the parent will still be alive to receive that relief on their heart. Because it is a hurt they don't understand until it happens to them.

The daughter, in the first case, needs therapy. She's holding so much resentment and anger towards her mother and absolutely no anger towards her father. I understand at 10 she couldn't go looking for him but at 16 she could, at 17 she could, at 18 she could. She didn't need to wait till she was in her late 30s, but SHE chose to wait till then to find out who her father was. I dont think it's entirely fair to blame the mother. The father is majorly to blame. He KNEW he had a possible child and just didn't care to figure it out. If you have a possible child in the world, you do anything to find that child and figure it out. You dont just go meh oh well baby mama left so its not my responsibility. Of course, the mother plays a part as well, but it's not all her fault for HIS actions. He choose his own actions, and hes responsible for them. I grew up without my father. As a child, i would cry for him and wonder why he didn't love me. I searched his name on facebook but could never find him. One day, i found an email. Took a chance and reached out. My father responded. At 13 i found a way to get incontact with my father with the only information i knew being his first and last name. I didnt know where he potentially lived, i didnt even live in the same city as him. Might be rude, but if i could find a way to contact my father she definitely could have. She had even more information than i did about her father. She just refused to believe her mother about the information. The father could have found her throughout the years, and the daughter could have reached out throughout the years as well.

Absolutely… My heart broke for the mother because the daughter was so resentful toward her. One of my daughters, hoes, resentful feelings toward me because when her father and I divorced, he basically divorced our daughters! He did not pay child support and he was working under an alias, so it was difficult to pursue him and he was using a different Social Security number and the years went by. I always knew my ex mother-in-law‘s address and would give it to my children for them to contact, her in order to contact their father and even though we only live one state over it was only about 20 minutes away. My daughter would blame me for his absence and for his refusal to pay child support and no matter what I did or how much I did for her her it really wasn’t appreciated. He has missed all accomplishments and milestones, high school and college graduation weddings, and baby showers and that one daughter of mine still finds a way to blame me and not him! It boggles the mind how some adult children can overlook the faults of the absent father and show little to no gratitude to the mother that had to bear the brunt of raising the kids single-handedly😔😠 She is in her early 40s and I know she needs counseling to get past whatever deep rooted resent fulfilling she may have against me, but I know I did not abandon my children raised them, put them through college and gave them the best life that I could, and I am very much OK With my actions🏆❤️ I just wanna send a big hug to that mother.❤️❤️

And I am also very glad for the little girl that the other family will stay in her life even though they are not related to her. There are so many people that don't think about things from other people's veiw point, even the people they love they don't try and put themselves into the other person's shoes. That's something your brains supposed to be able to do completely by 25, and even the ones that wait till after that age to have kids are still at child level of not being aware of others. That second case made me angry. I don’t trust anybody who change their number that often. Either you have horrible judgement in giving your number to people who you shouldn’t have or you just a that sneaky of a person you don’t like people being able to keep up with you. And she played with both those men. She’s gonna be one of those difficult baby mothers. The child is ultimately gonna suffer. She may make it so hard for the father to see his child he may give up and just sent the check and wait til the child is old enough to have a healthy relationship with her without the mother.
