The more i watched these videos, the more I was glad I went with Frankenstein. Good directions, good customer service and they answered my questions in a timely manner.

Hi, the offset axle isn't really a big deal. Use the same offset wheels and add a wheel spacer to the one side if it bothers you.

Thanks, You may have received the wrong brake caliper like I did. If it is chrome don’t install it. Get them replaced with the 2 valve kind from the dealer you bought it from. I had a hard time getting them to, but don’ give up. Take photos of the shipping box part number and the calipers. Goo luck

I'm seriously thinking of converting my bike into a trike with this kit. I wish you'd taken video of the axle when it was apart as I'd love to see inside it. Are the bearings and spider gear housing sealed or can the grease work its way out? Also, does it come with a handbrake?

How did you get the hubs off? I noticed a set screw and took that completely out. Is there anything else holding it on? Did you tap it off with a hammer or did you use a puller? Thank you for your videos. We're doing a bagger build and a lot of this info is very helpful even though it's a different setup.

After you separate the hub, mark on the axle where the set screw is on the hub. Remove the set screw, have a helper hold the axle and tire hub upright with a board between the axle end and the floor. Using a 2X4 and good sized hammer and drive the hub down and off the axle housing. This will take a while, it is on there very tight. When you have both apart, switch hubs, making. Sure you line up the set screw hole to the mark you made on the axle. Turn the assembly up side down, now lay the 2X4 a cross the center of large hub opening and drive it back on. This will go on much easier. Move the 2X4 around the hub as you do this to get it to go on straight. If you lined up the set screw hole with your mark, the set screw will go back in where it belongs

Did you also have to turn the differential and pulley 180 degrees or just swap the housings?
