DnD Stories: Arabelle was saved! Time to return her to the Vistani (Curse of Strahd, Ep. 15)

Arabelle has finally appeared in Curse of Strahd and my players really couldn’t have cut the rescue any closer. I find it strange that Xaeli chose not to use Cure Wounds or any kind of magical healing on Arabelle, but a healing potion was enough to do the trick.
Bluto Kargarov is objectively a bad person, but there’s more information about him that makes this whole thing worse: Bluto is a soulless Barovian. He doesn’t feel many emotions aside from fear and resentment. Plus, he doesn’t actually understand that what he tried to do to Arabelle was wrong. At least Nala has her stuff figured out, especially with geas.

For reference: Nala is the blue dragonborn druid, Xaeli is the gnome ranger, Torrin is the gold dragonborn paladin, and Barakas is the tiefling rogue.

i love your stories, especially when paired with a monster compenium. The insights into the backstory of Barovia are very intriguing. Did you play those scenes for your players so they would gain the same inights? If not, did you enable them to find out about the other actors in the land and their relationships to each other?

I'm delighted to hear that! Thank you :) My players are just now seeing most of these scenes, though I have provided some additional information regarding the background events happening in Barovia. The problem with giving them too much information is that they'd *absolutely* run back to Vallaki and murder Fiona in broad daylight.
