Most of my family is from Alaska, this setting and the attention to the tribes and the focus on the hard living affecting society is such a refreshing examination of arctic history, culture and pop culture.

The Regheds are really cool. I did not know that inuit vikings were a combination until now

Finally! Needed this episode because Reghed was not in pronunciation guide. 😂

I'm playing Rime of the Frost Maiden with my group soon and I've been dealt the Reghed Heir secret, so this has been extremely helpful to flesh out my character.

I wanna make a Reghed Wizard who found a spellbook left in the snow by some poor lost mage and teaches themselves magic with it
@freyalillianna20673 жыл бұрын
Or somehow the spellbook is cursed, causing you to get a surge of uncontrollable magic, making you a wild magic barbarian

I hear lots of talk about cutting out. Some survival backgrounds and some spells like Good berry to make things more difficult for survival. Sounds like a party would profit form a barbarian guide from one of the tribes and a local Druid too. I am curious what the bears, wolves and tiger clans would have to say if they met a lycanthrope of the right kinds in an adventuring group? Anyone have opinions?

I was a little iffy about the pronunciation, but luckily its been made much easier on me

Seein a lot of comments on pronunciation. One thing which i was told was to always say it with confidence. If you dont know how to say it most likely they dont either. So if you say it like your right most will assume thats how you say it. Good lil tip till the experts release vids like this

Is this the first LYSK to be posted on KZbin? I know I can search it, but it just seems like this segment (the main reason I listen to the Podcast) has not been shared in this way before.

As I expected. Used the Channel Search and found you've been doing them all! Great find! I must have missed out because I was not Subbed before D&D& Celebration 2020. Glad that is changed now!

Shouldn't the "Elk" tribe be the Reindeer tribe? And there aren't Tigers within 3,000 miles of Icewind Dale. Wouldn't Cougars or something be more appropriate?

Notice how long it took Chris to say "the Reghed are largely human, but there's some other RACES that they've brought into their midst" - that's right, DnD has races, and it's fine! It's not offensive, don't need to change what's completely fine. the Humans are one race. The Orcs are one race. The Elves are one race. We're fine with this. Don't go changing it. Thanks.
