Guess I will be passing on this book since Bastions are the only new thing really besides them compiling things that should already have been available or were available in other books. I was really hoping they wouldn't cut the entire class from the base books but its literally just them cutting content to sell back later. I know a lot of people think Artificer's "don't have a place in all settings" but as long as magic items exist in your setting, so can they, its a class limited only by your and your DM's imagination(and their ability to say no to nonsense and run downtime properly). The steampunk "style" people force on the class is a problem WOTC created and could easily undo if they were competent, just release the class outside a Steampunk setting and reinforce the magical crafter/inventor archetype.

we just ended the Curse of Strahd and are off to a new homebrew Quest. We already talked about going back and building a base in Barovia :D And the timing of the new book would fit perfect. But the germadn translation is far to slow. Please try to increase the translation speed. I know it is more difficult than translating a Novel but it is hard to wait

This looks very promising but I realize they haven't talked about homebrewing that much. Like player options, monsters and magic items. That's kinda worrying me a little

Darkmoor is arguably just as much the first Campaign Setting. Mystara is also a setting I think would have been better for the generic DMG setting

I can’t help but wonder if they mention Gord in the DMG? He is after all not only the best thief ever!! But he was also my introduction to the Greyhawk and its lore. Some of the best books I read as a kid.

so what part of the very exensive "new player hand book" did u use ai with? just the art or the rulles too? xD

I would love to implement bastions in a long campaing, and then do an "innocent" one -shot with the players invading their own bastion without even knowing.

I hope we get some new enchanted flutes. There are none. We got pipes, drums, lutes, lyres, viols etc but no flutes.

I actually have and have read the original World of Greyhawk folio and I am amazed we will now get an update to that!

I feel like this should be the intro to a revamped and dramatic "How its Made" on the Discovery channel

Can't wait to not buy the 5.5 books and just take the half dozen changes I like to 5e

I care a lot about the challenge rate and encounter building rules. Do they talk about those in the video? Or we know if there are any useful changes? I don't want to listen to 43 minutes for nothing 😂
