Great video! I have to suggest though that you consider getting some more lighting to light the front of you and the Item. The backlighting is nice and all but the more important thing is to see the subject well lit.

Nice! My customers have been asking for an updated RV model. They are going to love this bigger screen. Also love the Garmin video out option

I bought this. Hope it fits in a 2022 Thor Challenger! I assume I will need a custom wiring harness.........

Yes, It will require some form of adaptor. Since all RVs are coach-built vehicles based on manufactured truck chassis. There will be variations of what equipment was selected from the RV builder choose. In general, they use either OEM receivers native to the chassis selected or aftermarket options of various types. that unfortunately makes it difficult to say what equipment and adaptors (if any) you will require. All RV's are considered custom installations and its recommended to use a KENWOOD-authorized dealer or a preferred RV service center. Each receiver is designed with a "pigtail" harness designed to connect to a 3rd party provided harness made specifically for each make and model vehicle. Each vehicle is unique in fitment and harnesses required. The receiver Features are designed for the RV application but are not specifically plug and play with all RV'S. Parts and installation will vary for each vehicle. Thanks!

Ok ok ok... question of the day!!!!! Is this going to be available for normal Kenwood Excelon dealers?? Or is this only going to be available for RV places & like 5 dealers in the US?

I had one installed from CarToys. Is this unit ready for 360 bird's eye view?
@KenwoodUSA8 ай бұрын
Kenwood currently does not offer a 360 Birds Eye Camera, however, it can be retained with 3rd party adaptors and OEM Equipment from compatible factory configurations to be displayed on our receiver. Thanks!

But when does it come out?

I have a RV on a freightliner chassis. I have a right and left camera and a rear, the side come on when the turn signal goes on. I assume I have an adaptor now that connects to my Axxera screen, will this work?? I want the ability to turn on any camera when I want also.

This question would be difficult to answer without seeing the installation and all the components involved, It is advised you return to the KENWOOD dealer who installed the receiver and find out what is possible in your particular installation. Thanks!

How can I fit this in a jeep jlu
@KenwoodUSA Жыл бұрын
Due to limitations in mounting depth, with the JL Jeep Platform, you will encounter issues with a full-size chassis receiver as an example in the video. This receiver is also specific to RV/Heavy Truck navigation so it would not be ideal for a Jeep. You can visit our website and use the dealer locator to find an authorized KENWOOD dealer in your area and set up a consultation for your specific vehicle and needs. www.kenwood.com/usa/car/ Thanks!

Guys, when will there be a software update for the DNR1007XR? It's been almost two years since its last update.
@KenwoodUSA Жыл бұрын
The DNR1007XR receiver has 2 separate areas to update. One is Garmin navigation update provided by Garmin when available and KENWOOD provides software updates when applicable. If you are looking for the GARMIN map updates they are provided here support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=KqHtldqkm2A5cwtmJiZvF9 Thanks!

@@KenwoodUSA Thanks, I'm aware there are two separate entities which need respective updates. I have Garmin Express, and my maps are updated. I'm specifically asking Kenwood about the operating system of the DNR1007Xr, being that the last issued update was 9/2021
@KenwoodUSA Жыл бұрын
@@dang6369 Software updates are not issued unless needed to improve stability or adapt to changes in smartphone conductivity. In short, there is not any need for an update right now. Thanks!
