DNACPR (DNR)
44. They asked Jamie five times to sign a DNR, a do not resuscitate document and he kept telling them no.
The following day (28th March) they asked him again and
it was five times in total that they asked him to sign a DNR.
There were two other occasions and he repeatedly said they would need to speak to me.
46. Jamie got upset enough about this that he called me; he wanted me to reassure him that I wouldn't agree to it. He was terrified.
He never signed one and there were never any conversations about DNR before.
They eventually tested him for Covid. Jamie was initially told that the result was negative but then the doctor came round to see him later that day and said he had tested positive. He said the doctor thought he was over the worst of it.
My friend works in the hospital, and she said that there had been e-mails and a leaflet sent out to say who would and wouldn't get treatment so I knew Jamie wouldn't get it.
53. On 4th April Jamie facetimed me; he looked really well. He was up and dressed. Jamie's oxygen must have been reduced because I had no trouble hearing him. He was laughing and joking away. I thought he must have been getting better and I would get him home soon. I asked if he was getting out and he said he would ask the doctor.
Bereavement.
57. She asked if I understood that Jamie was
going to die. I said absolutely not as he was sitting up in bed joking yesterday.
60. They gave Jamie midazolam to help him sleep. I went home but asked them to phone me and I would come straight back as I didn't want him to be alone.
61. I got a call the next morning (8th April 2020) to ask me to go back to the hospital. They said, 'it was time.' When I arrived, there were five nurses in the room with him in case I didn't arrive in time.
62. Jamie was in and out of consciousness most of that day; he was scared because he was having trouble breathing. He kept grabbing onto the bed rails frantically and shouting to me as he struggled to breath.
The palliative care team came in and asked if I would like them to give him something to make him more comfortable; I agreed. They rotated the midazolam with morphine.
63. Jamie passed away at 11.29pm that night. Before Jamie passed away, we got married. He had been asking me and up until he became really ill, I had always said no not until you are better. I thought it was the last thing I could have done for him. He knew what was going on, a nurse took a video, and they got rings from the lost and found.
64. My mum got the chaplain, and we were able to get married in the hospital.

An elderly friend of mine aged 81 fell at hoime and hurt his arm. In my humble opinion his wrist and lower arm was badly bruised, but his brother insisted that he should go to hospital for an X ray. When he arrived at Antrim Area Hospital, he was taken off for an X ray which showed that he had no broken bones, but he was diagnosed with covid and admitted to a ward. He had no breathing problems and had shown no signs of covid, but within a few hours, he was put on a ventilator and by midnight he had died. In my humble opinion, the Hospital murdered him for the COVID bounty. Nice little earner for the trust, eh?

I am sorry for your loss. I had odd experiences as well. I was in ER for arrhythmia and was told to go home to be protected against covid??????? That happened twice. I got covid pneumonia? IN NOV DEC 2022. I am not convinced I had covid but I did have pneumonia. NOTHING ON THE CT REPORT MENTIONED ANY COVID TYPE VIRUS. I WAS given that vaxovid spelling? Twice the second time passed five days. I think it made me worse and did nothing. So instead of treating my dehydration palpitation etc they send me ho. On po antibiotics to return to the medical clinic. I had to have IV fluids twice.

>>>Covid-19, the fentanyl epidemic, Government caused civil unrest, the Governments push of the WOKE AGENDA and abortion, ARE ALL aimed towards "DEPOPULATION". What is depopulation? It is, "A reduction over time in a region's population and can be caused by sudden adverse events such as outbursts of infectious disease, famine, and war or by long-term trends, for example, sub-replacement fertility, persistently low birth rates, high mortality rates, and continued emigration.." WHY would world Governments want depopulation? Here's a quote from scientificamerica.com : "Declining populations will ease the pressure eight billion people put on the planet. As the population and sustainability director at the Center for Biological Diversity, I've seen the devastating effects of our ever-expanding footprint on global ecosystems.."May 4, 2023 World leaders, including U.S., plan to reduce Global populations BUT THEY CAN'T JUST SAY THAT, no, the world populations would be appalled and fight back. So, instead, they develop and deploy GENETICALLY ALTERED VIRUSES, Fentanyl and vaccines that cause death, disabilities, low birth rates and still births. they push a WOKE AGENDA because people who undergo alterations to identify as a different sex, WON'T BEAR CHILDREN. Civil unrest, People flooding our Country, Rampant crime, Stirring racially controversy, ALL LEAD TO DEATHS AND A LOWER POPULATION.- FUNDING WARS...LOWERS WORLD POPULATIONS. This is ALL BY DESIGN! Each year there are more NATURAL DISASTERS and people depend on their GOVERNMENTS FOR HELP. There are more and more homes and businesses destroyed every year. It's cheaper to have people die, than to keep trying to rebuild. If enough of WE ORDINARY PEOPLE die off, there will be more for the elites like the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM, THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, BLACK ROCK, and the WORLDS WEALTHIEST PEOPLE and let us NOT FORGET WORLD LEADERS! Now, our Government is saying that "RURAL AMERICANS ARE A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY", the fact is the KNOW RURAL AMERICANS ARE RESILIENT, They can and do produce much of their own FOOD, can heat their homes without the power grid etc. They WON'T DIE OFF EASILY. Oh, let's not forget, they OWN GUNS and can fight back and hunt for food. They are really just a threat to DEPOPULATION. In some states they are making GARDENING and OWNING SMALL NUMBERS OF LIVE STOCK ILLEGAL!. If we can produce our own food and food for our neighbors, they say we are "A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY." I say, we are a threat to their evil plans. WAKE UP...WAKE UP. Of course Anothony Fauci (Dr. Death) was involved in the creation of SARS COVI 2, better known as COVID-19, he and the rest of our Government. Washington isn't really fighting for us with all of their hearings and other BULLSHIT...IT'S A SHIT SHOW to cover up their real mission. THEY PLAN TO SURVIVE AT OUR EXPENSE! (PERIOD)

The proper term is "undue pressure," and we need to get laws passed to prohibit hospitals, govts, schools, employers, transportation providers, etc, from usng "undue pressure" on people. Coercion is to threaten to hurt or kill someone if they dont do as you want. Undue pressure is where you make things uncomfortable for that person and pressure them to do something against their will. Very important that we pass laws to PROTECT people from UNDUE PRESSURE.

The left her lying unattended in a bed for 14 days until she was "cleared" but by then she couldn't move from malnourishment and dehydration and the hospital wanted her out but couldn't get any rehabilitation facility to take her because of the covid diagnosis. She had a bed sore which eventually became septic and she was not able to recover. She diminished and died less than 3 months after going into the hospital. The hospital claimed the government wouldn't allow them to treat patients with no symptoms and were required to isolate them. The government and hospital and the individual Dr's are all responsible for her early death.

Usually with meds such as morphine which depress the respiratory system or inadequate oxygen administration...Like they have a right to decide how someone's life should end. I'm not even talking about palliative care either judging by the detail of the conversation we had. I'm talking about just older people who go into hospital for treatment for issues with existing conditions, completely treatable conditions. From what I gather from my ex MIL, happened usually with patients with easily treatable cardio or pulmonary issues. Seems to me that euthanasia has been happening well before it became a legal choice by the patient but sadly in these cases not at the patients discretion but a decision made by Drs and nurses who don't value a persons life enough to give them the respect and grace of going out on their own terms.

Fifteen years ago my husband was treated for a brain tumour. I knew he would not survive and he was in the final stages, but he was still eating, drinking and conversing with friends and family. The district nurses kept writing in the notes "mouth swabs only given, not able to eat or drink" and put him on a syringe driver of morphine and midazolam. Whilst I thought the morphine might be required (although he didn't complain of any pain) I objected to the midazolam as it kept him unconscious. I eventually, after a lot of arguing, got him taken off that, and he had a few more weeks communicating with us, enjoying the TV radio, music etc. Too many are killed off before their time and it is immoral.

I can empathise. My dad slipped and badly banged his head on the floor of a supermarket he just entered just before Christmas 2020. The decision was made to ambulance him to a hospital, even though he quickly recovered and told them there was no need. They forced him against his will to go to the hospital. I was told he wrestled with hospital staff when he arrived repeating he didn't need to be there and he should be allowed to go home. It took several hospital staff members to subdue him, as he was strong for his age, forcing him to stay. He spent around a week in the hospital before he was discharged. I don't know what they did to him but he was a shadow of his former self, which was absolutely shocking. It seemed he'd been heavily medicated on something. A couple of days later he deteriorated rapidly. Practically became a vegetable! He became so weak he couldn't even lift himself off his chair. The same man who a week before the slip in the supermarket was strong enough to move a large fridge freezer out of his kitchen into the back yard, ready for the delivery of a new one the following day. I had no choice but to call emergency services who ambulanced him straight back to the same hospital. He spent another two weeks there before I got the call he died. Pneumonia caused by COVID was the apparent cause of his death. He was 84. I've been highly suspicious of the whole episode and believe he was killed by the hospital staff. Premeditated murder!

My Mom was a patient in a stateside rehab facility following a fall and surgery requiring a rod be implanted. Mom was VAXXED TO THE MAX. She even thought if I got sick ((I am the family UNVAXXED NEANDERTHAL), I should be denied medical care.. Mom developed COVID in late March 2022. Afterwards she developed what they referred to as "COVID Pneumonia). Following antibiotics and steroids for the Pneumonia, she was improving. We were making arrangements in July to try to bring Mom home. Her siblings visited every Thursday so I rarely visited on those days. It was a small room and with 4 visitors could be tiring for her. They said Mom ate well and appeared in good spirits. She was using a nasal canula for her oxygen and doing fine. Early the next day, we received a call that Mom had a very rough night. It seems, or so they said, Mom had Pneumonia again. Upon entering her room, Mom was in a hospital gown (something she hadn't worn for over 6 months). Her nasal canula replaced with a face mask. In her bedside chair hanging over the side with no sheets or blankets. We instantly demanded her vitals taken and I wanted to see when her sat rate started to decline. I, also, demanded a chest xray. At this time, a nurse gave her Ativan and Morphine. I asked why when her O2 rates were low. The nurse made a comment about "end of life treatment ". I asked: ARE you saying Mom is dying? Should I call the family and her minister. I also demanded to see her Dr ASAP. I also demanded no more Ativan and Morphine be given until the xray taken, results in and I spoke to her Dr. After 6 hrs, they finally got the xray ordered. Her O2 rate was greatly improved. Still no Dr. Yet they tried tried again with the Ativan and Morphine which I refused be given. The staff said we should go grab a bite to eat while the xray taken and still trying to arrange the mtg. We left after Mom ate some lunch. Her O2 rate was around 90. Not great but a huge improvement from our arrival. We received a call to say it's Pneumonia. They had changed her antibiotics and added steroids. Also additional breathing treatments . About 5 miles from the facility, we received a 2d call. It was about 30 minutes after the first one confirming the Pneumonia. The call was "Your Mom just passed away and hung up ". Upon arrival, she was completely dressed, in bed. I found out after we left, she received 2 treatments of the Ativan and Morphine. I think they killed my Mom.

Very good point and I totally agree - DNR should be only on the patient's request. The patient is always in a vulnerable position and, on the other hand, the doctor, as a health professional, is an authority. It is assumed that you should follow doctor's orders, after all you go to a doctor to get a professional medical advise. Should that advise ever be to sign a DNR? In that case you need to somehow go against the medical authority in order to deny it. It shouldn't be that way, we should be able to expect that anything the doctor advises is for our good. It's hard to imagine for me that DNR could be considered beneficial for most of the patients. Unless, of course, they are really 'tired of suffering' which for the vast majority is not the case. It's like the default position switched from 'we will do whatever it takes to save you' to 'we will let you go if you deteriorate beyond certain threshold'. The one who decides where that threshold should be is practically deciding about life and death. It's completely unimaginable how you can put such a decision on a doctor. Doctor should always do whatever is possible to save your life, not deciding if it is still worth it for you or maybe not anymore.

@@tribinaaux4043 I think it exists for a reason. For some terminally ill patients resuscitation could mean that although either way they would most likely die, instead of dying peacefully they would get a lot of pain and even injuries at these very last moments. Some people also think that they should just die 'naturally' when their time comes. DNR does not mean anyone is "helping you" to die, it's just sparing you all that pain and dreams when they try to keep you alive at all cost. It also should never mean denying anyone the best standard of care possible, which unfortunately seems sometimes could be interpreted otherwise.

My mother is in a care home in the Uk. Over a year ago she was very upset. She told my daughter that the doctor’s rooms had phoned her repeatedly about having a DNR ….. now my mum, who ran her own district nursing company for years, was distressed at the constant harassment (which it was) and when the rest of the family heard…… we were spitting mad. Our mum is pretty mobile at the age of 97 this year, checks up on the other residents to make sure they’re ok, helps to feed those that need help and keeps a diary everyday. She is incredible. She did try to refuse the 2nd booster onwards but somehow, the residents get lined up in the communal lounge and get injected in a very fast, efficient manner which doesn’t allow anyone time to think, question or object to this rushed process. There seems to be a definite trend towards the elderly and vulnerable which started around 2020 …… and it’s not a good trend!! Hearing this tragic story of a young man battling cancer being intimidated with the “threat” of DNRs and then treated with incorrect medications is abhorrent. I feel terribly sorry for his family for losing him like this. Something is VERY WRONG with the current system.

Last time he was in hospital he was ready to go home with his discharge letter. Next thing we're called up as he had died . Will. Never know what took place . Family all day they killed our dear dad . That took place 3 yrs ago . Dad would ring me upset saying if you don't get me out he will die there as many were just dying in front of him . Horrible just horrible 😭

This is so heartbreaking. The fact that I alone know of a few situations like this here in the US, where people didn't survive, is concerning. We couldn't change the order she had signed. Graphic warning here: her fingers and toes turned purple, her mouth turned black. And more. I always thought if something happened to me I would want a DNR. There is no way I would put my children through watching my body break down like that. It was hell. Despite refusing to accept a DNR, the Dr, not the MDT, at Northumbria hospital informed his wife that the medical team will over ride that choice. They failed to diagnose shingles, when he was admitted 3 days after his boost. Consequently the untreated shingles entered his brain causing encephalitis, he now has multi organ failure. They have implemented the DNR and have informed his wife that they would not admit him to ITU for multi organ support. If his wife isn’t present they do not take the time to feed him or change him. This is now.

Meanwhile my dad had a stomach bleed within a couple of weeks of her death… the staff kept telling us he was getting better and could go home soon… again no visitors (and the poor love was heartbroken and had no loved ones to comfort him… he watched her funeral on an iPad)… five weeks later he was released and sent home, where he died within two days (on 20/3/2021). My heart is broken and I will never forget what was done to my parents… liars and murderers, every last one of them!

As licensed health service professional for 50 years, I knew that the overuse of medicated intubations and ventilator use was a death sentence for many ! No efforts to use tried and true good practice of respiratory therapies including positioning, active participation of the patient as in deep as possible breathing and coughing, vibratory respiratory assist therapies, suctioning and such were abandoned. Hence patients were made comatose and their lungs just filled up. Risk management has taken on a very dark meaning. It seems the "risk" now is financial for the institutions. A very slippery slope that needs investigation and evaluation.
