Mengsk had it all the time while Kerrigan was forcibly "ghosted" since 8 (such brainwash means practically as same as resoc ), then she was betrayed by Arcturus which resulted in her being "remold" into Queen of blades with severely twisted personality and controlled by overmind (not much of a true free will either..) only to be "rescued" by Jim (as we know Mengs had a "backup kill" plan for her in form of a traitor in Jim´s team (luckily that assasination didn´t take place..) and after Jim being imprisoned she had no choice how to get to that assbag Mengsk but to become primal zerg hybrid herself.. As for casualties, I´m damn sure that pig Mengsk goes off the charts compared to Kerrigan as he was coldly calculating with human lives when he ordered all forces to defend not Korhal but only himself.. whadda PRICK !! Sarah (aside the time as a ghost) only made what was necessary.. cuz Amon partially said it right as she was manipulated her whole life, first by terran confederacy, then by mengsk then by overmind (via Amon himself) and only after that she became truly free.. the love for Jim made it possible.. and Also I suspect that Ouros was exerting some influence on her through the visions of what she was to become in order to help defeat Amon.. Her destiny may have had been very well drawn right from the start.. and she may have killed many poeple but not as many as "Artie" and she most definitely hadn´t done it in such nasty, heinous and abominable ways as he did..

Kinda funny how Arcturus signed his own death warrant when sacrificing Kerrigan. Who was at the time one of his most loyal soldiers and he sacrificed her on a whim. Just imagine the uses Kerrigan would have had for his empire if he had never sacrificed her. Just from a tactical point of view. Sending down a retrieval crew would have cost Mengsk nothing and have kept him a great ally. I like to think Mengsk was very much a coward as well. Having done his job here, keeping the fleet in orbit could statistically put him in danger so why not flee the moment you can consolidate your power. He chose pure selfishness here to make sure he returned home to rule a new empire. His life wouldn't be risked any longer for assets that have done their job. Also Queen of Blades is the hottest female character I have ever seen. Or kerrigan with the zerg hair is pretty too. Like damn... Who the F designed her?

Thanks for the video. Starcraft was the first RTS game I played on Windows98 on my PC. I always felt Sarah Kerrigan in Starcraft looked like Kirsten Dunst when she was a human Ghost sniper. But after she changed into the Queen of Blades or when reverted back to human form, she looked more like Zendaya.

What's funny is the whole love story was really only in SC2. I just replayed SC1 and BW recently and other than some VERY minor flirting between them, it is never once mentioned that they had any kind of relationship whatsoever. It was, I struggle to use the word retconned because its not really, definitely added after BW but talked about as if it always was. Jim is barely even in BW and shows up sporadically after his initial campaign in the OG. To be clear, imo, it was absolutely the right narrative decision in regards to these two legendary characters.

This just reminds me of how grandiose that story is...Seeing Kerrigan piloting that ship and fullfilling her role is breathtaking as it is for the other characters like Jim. Tychus is also so well written. Damn good science fiction. On a personal note, the ending of the story however went more into a metaphysical realm. Angel Kerrigan versus Cthullu. I would have much prefered than that Amon was some ultra strong alien character that you had to fight and kill and his army were the hybrids. Kinda like a hero character.

I generally liked the story, but I never could get over how they just made SC2 a real Warcraft in space, with magic and everything. At first, psionic abilities were mostly psychic, telepathy mostly, with the strongest like the Queen of Blades and the Protoss having some physical manifestations of it, like the psionic storm. In SC2, they just conjure up anything they see fit for the story. Hell, Kerrigan even materializes a larva from thin air. They totally dulled the mystery and uniqueness of these aspects. Like someone said, all flash, no substance. And just tons of cliché anime.
