Hello Vin and Happy New Year fella. I have the 5x and I love it. I must admit I found it a bit fiddly to set up at first but there’s a great video on KZbin how to set it up which I used to set mine up. I do however have a separate ir to save on battery. Having used the Sightmark wraith previously it’s definitely on another level.

I just run a thermal camera on a 3d printed mount between barrel an mod and have phone mounted to picatinny on side of scope for spotting, obviously not as good as the thermnite but works well enough for me an was £85 if you already have a mobile phone

First thing I bought for my 5-20 LRF was a 3d printed throw lever for the focus
@vincentenglish848928 күн бұрын
@@Airgunfunrich sounds cool mate, a throw lever would make life so much easier, especially when fingers are cold 👍👍

@ a fishing coaster would work just as well mate, use one on the side focus on one of my scopes that’s a bit stiff
@felgate1128 күн бұрын
Hi Vin, could you make a "Throw Lever" for the Focus ring out of a cable tie, a black one at that, so hardly noticeable ?
@Airgunfunrich28 күн бұрын
You can buy 3d printed ones or use a fishing coaster or as you suggested a cable tie

Good review of a nice bit of kit, if you've got the money to get enough use out of it. I still use a red torch on my GX40 for ratting and bunny bashing on the odd time I hunt at night. Much cheaper solution, but far less efficient than the Zulus. Is this going to be a keeper for you?

I would be interested in your thoughts on how it compares alongside your Oneleaf scope. I currently have the NV400 Eagle, which i can't rate enough,but there has always been a positive buzz around the DNT Zulus users.
@vincentenglish848927 күн бұрын
@@karlfell3768 hmm the Zulus is a much more compact unit than the NV400 and considerably lighter. In terms of performance they are very similar and it really boils down to personal preference. Truthfully I'd be happy to use either one.
