The excitation condition here is that the mechanical torque of an engine seems to be increased to a higher value, not a short period of push acceleration. To meet this mechanical power increase, the angle delta is subsequently increased in the electrical power P_G = Ea * V * sin(delta) / Xs.

Bcoz it's equivalent to no load condition, hence induced emf and terminal voltage will be in phase. Or in other words u can say there's no current so no reactance drop.

sir you said in one of your lecture the delta angle is in between 15 to 20 degree so my question is if we increase the mechanical torque (of PM) can we surpass this angle limit and this question came in my mind because we are dealing with large power systems so is it practically possible? btw thanks for your lectures they are extremely helpful.

If you go above a certain value of delta the magnetic locking between stator magnetic field and rotor will get lost..and the generator will fall out if synchronism...
