I've seen both maori and pakeha do good and bad, both political and environmental. We've been overfishing for years, and the rubbish new zealanders walk over and not pick up is insane. And yet they are quick to blame someone else. New Zealand is a unique country and most of us take it for granted.

1 time I was strolling thru Pak n Save Manurewa and Hello came across a toddler 3-4yo with no clothes no undies no shoes no parents supervising and no shits to give by not looking for a thing and not exploring things, bumping into whatever in his way blessing everything with his raho. And he was in the meat section! U think we're special for not wearing shoes when out??? That kid did not give a fluck about shoes!

What bit did you need clarifying? I was simply highlighting the fact that firearms and hunting are a fundamental part of NZs history. The fact that guns are on the doors to Parliament, equal with the treaty, is a fact very few people know.

So why do yous refer as Kiwi. Kiwi is a bird. And it was originally forwarded towards white Caucasians because they used to hide from maori so maori called the Caucasians Kiwi. Coz kiwis birds hide. But Caucasians to use it to name everyone Kiwi. We are all maori. Not Kiwi. We are one and that is maori. Half cook islands and half maori is a full blown maori. Not an british/ maori. Or a Kiwi. You brothers and sisters are maori. Remember that. We accept you as tangata whenua. We are tangata whenua. We are aotearoa living on Moana Nui O hiva aka Pacific ocean.
