I ordered three ProMag magazines for my Canik Mete cause I can't find Canik magazines anywhere. Glad I got them. They work as good as the OEM magazines that came with the firearm. Thanks for the excellent advice

Yes sir! Promag does make decent magazines for certain weapons! They make a great canik 32 rd mag. I would use it at the range with 32 and for war with 30 in it! All promag's stuff isn't trash. I used to think that a few years ago

I've had 3 promags. 2 9 round, 1 7 round for my .40 shield. 1st I got a 9 round, kept it loaded for homedefense and used at the range 4 or 5 times. The follower losses spring tension after 2 rounds are loaded now. I added another spring doubling up and now it's a 6 to 7 round range mag. I keep the 7 and other 9 unloaded and they've worked at the range 4 or 5 times.. ok range use, not defense.

I have two Promags that work fine in my Star .45 PD. I did upgrade them with Wolff mag springs. These Promags give my Star 7 round capacity (7+1) over the original 6 round mags that came with the pistol. As always YMMV.

Back in 2012 there was a big gun scare under Obama. I got an early Universal M1 Carbine(when they used usgi parts)from Cabelas. I needed extra mags for it, so I bought a 15 round promag and a 30 round promag. The 15 round mag had no issues, the 30 round mag would only hold 22 rounds before the spring/follower would bind on something inside the magazine.

I just picked up a few for a Smith 4506. Being a single stack 45ACP it may be ok. We will see.

My 4506 keeps failing to extract after I bought promags, after I changed the extractor spring, all run flawlessly.

I have bought about seven different Promag Industries magazines. One for a Ruger P90 .45 Auto, one for a .45 Auto Hi-Point 4595, one for a Springfield M-1A and some other firearms. All were defective and had problems except for the M-1A ten round magazine. I have wrote Promag Industries off and would rather go with other magazine manufacturers that have better quality control. Amend2 I hear makes good quality AR-15 5.56 x 45 / .300 AAC Blackout magazines. I also heard Magpul makes great quality Glock 9 millimeter Luger magazines. Mec-Gar also makes good quality magazines.

I watched this because I have a Taurus TX22 and I'm seeing a Promag magazine made for my gun in a 21 round capacity. They're available but apparently they don't fit flush with the bottom of the handle, which would bug me. I wish I could find a review on one.

I do know that their warranty department is a real pain in the butt. I went for months back and forth with them with their technical department. Their technical department communicated in two or three word sentences in the emails. Highly educated. I finally got satisfaction when I got a hold of some of their sales reps and retailers. Then ProMag decided they should shut me up and send me my magazine

ProMag has been hit or miss for me. Bought 2 10 round mags for a mini 14. 1 worked fine after adjusting the feed lips the other wouldn’t cycle properly and even the bottom plate came off. Wouldn’t recommend.

@@oWiKio well follow up. One of the mags works flawlessly. The other won’t load a round in the chamber. Don’t know what to do. I contacted Promag they told me they sent me a new spring, but nothing. No confirmation.

I have had many promag products but for larger caliber rifles. I bought one for my LCP Ruger. It will not seat in the gun, The mag it came with was a little funny also. I guess I have to send the GUN back to Ruger.

I bought two pro mag 30 round m&p smith and wesson mags, i bought it to run in a smith mag compatible AR9 build complete waste of money. Promag doesn't answer calls or emails. Never again.

So far I have just over 3,000 total between my two Smith&Wesson 17 round magazines that came with my M&P 2.0 metal and I bought 4 promags from rule king. No issues so far with the promag.

The S&W M&P promags work well when clean but are far more prone to jamming from dust and grit than the factory ones, at least that is my experience.

@Inspectorzinn2 yea. I've learned, that when I'm doing my shooting on the move drills. Go ahead and look over all my magazines before I put them back in my bag

Is the 20 bucks you're saving worth potentially getting you killed because your handgun jammed? The only aftermarket mags worth a shit are Magpul and Wilson Combat unless it's a range toy.

Bought promags for m1a and promags for enfield. None of them work well. None. For the m1a the springs are too tight, causes jams. Enfield one doesn't even fit.

I've used ProMags on my Mossberg 715T, Draco, PSA AR15 Pistol, and my Glocks. They are garbage, straight pieces of garbage. They have never worked without requiring some work, Most of the time it's failure to feed.

I have 3 of the mossberg 715t magazines for my Rossi RS22 and I run them at full capacity at the range! They work bro. Maybe it's just the one have.

Cant speak to others, but I purchased 3 21 rnd P320 mags..........They all suck . After loading the 9th rnd, it rattles like a chevy, after 17 rnds very difficult for the final, the 21st will not fit. Feed problems all the way down to about the 12th rnd. Military and LEOs that use the Sig, buy Sig mags. Don't trust these.

Promags suck. They unload themselves in storage , jam under use. Their plastic magazines are dangerously crappy. I will NEVER buy their products ever again. Absolute JUNK.
