I remember there was a discussion in comments on how Eugene was a great representative figure for Asian Masculinity. I think they were the ones with when they redid Keith and Becky's and then Zach and Maggie's apartments. Both episodes involved having the guys get rid of some of their stuff and people thought it was misandrist that only the women's ideas for the space were being taken into consideration. Even though both Zach and Keith were onboard with the redesign, and it was shown that they had too much stuff that made the space non-functional. Ariel even found ways to keep some of their silly trinkets in the redesigned space in a way that was tasteful. People just complain to complain sometimes...

I guess Zach had many diagnosed psychological issues before. He spoke about them before in BuzzFeed. That cute little guy. Of course he is insecure. And well i am as tiny too. And as for me, i always speak up about my insecurity to let people know that i am insecure so that some day someone will be like, why what are you talking about, you have no need to be insecure. I can't speak for Zach, rather i should not. But i really relate to Zach and since thats the reason i do it, i just guess its the same for him. Eugene is a different story coz of his upbringing, he is more closed off. And because of that, thought Eugene deserves all the love, we tend to sympathise with his story more because of course listen to it! In this Zach's stories tend to go unheard because he seems to have grown up with all the privilege you can imagine. Except, mental health doesn't leave anyone out of the conversation. P. S. - I am kinda drawing from real life here, talking more about Zach-like and Eugene-like people i know. And i really wanted to drain. Thanks.

I think Eugene is more sensitive to those things while Zach is self aware of his own struggles. Eugene is more reserved and when you keep things quiet you’re more subjected to it feeling a lot worse than it is (Nothing wrong with that. It’s a humane response). Zach is more open about it, he’s more vocal so it’s possible that he recognizes things and keep himself grounded that way. They’re both very different in how they think and respond, you can tell, so I wouldn’t say one is considerably “worse”. Zach has had the time and opportunity to practice the mentality to overcome hate comments and not let them bother him because as he said, 1 hate comment has the weight of 1000 positive comments. Eugene however let’s himself take them in and then makes the decision on how he’s going to fight against it, whether it be ignore it completely and keep doing what he’s doing or addressing it in his own way. They both have their own unique strength in that. This is just my impression of how I see them though based on what they’ve said over the years about how they feel so I could be off a bit here and there. I could be completely off. So like, don’t take this too seriously.

She absolutely loved sports and hanging out with all the boys (I'm a camp counselor) and for the entire summer this poor 7 year old girl got, essentially, harassed, gossipped about, and bullied by some of the other girls in another group becuase she would have her hair all messy after running and she was a bit more eccentric (also had ADHD). But, no child deserves to be hated by their peers becuase they are different.

I personally think the try guys changed Eugene a lot from an outside perspective. I remember back then when he was at buzz feed everyone was kinda scared of him and while fans thought he was hot, everyone saw him as a tough guy thats really perfectionistic and will indeed yell at you if you won't do it the way he wants to.
