when kurt compliments their moves while being totally unable to see, that is the most impressive. when he moves, it almost feels like he could be guessing (I know he isn't but it feels like he could be less oriented) but when he acknowledges their moves as good, it really shows he not only knows all the pieces on all four boards, not only have plans for his pieces for all four boards, but ALSO is keeping track of all of their potential moves, which ones are good, and how he may counter them

as a chess player I have to say that Kurt's recall and sportsmanship are amazing. not only does he take the Guys seriously as opponents, he takes the time to explain castling, etc., and admits when one of them makes a good move. I've tried blindfolded games before and I was always very severely handicapped; seeing as I'm not that good to begin with, so I lost every game I played blindfolded, obviously. the fact that some chessmasters can play without setting eyes on a board stuns me.

The fact that he played FOUR games at once while BLINDFOLDED IS INSANE. He memorized every single move for each board. Remembered the board layout, the pieces, everything...for FOUR boards. The man is a genius. Him memorizing 2 boards while blindfolded would have been impressive, let alone four. Holy crap. I am sad I missed this vid when it came out. I don't know how or why. I blame YT...I am also impressed with Ned. I wonder how well he would do playing 1V1 with Kurt. P.S. I have to say...well, I don't have to say, but I WANT to say. Kurt is very attractive. And there are also factors like the fact that there was a moment of awkward silence when Ned stuck his hand out to the guy, so...
