No Arabs aren't exploiting the neighborhood, so called black people stopped running corner stores. Black people stopped supporting black store owners, and black ppl now think that because you have a business you are supposed to live a extravagant lifestyle and not put in the work. @@javionriley8739I think you're referring to the general "brown" skin, but the Arabian peninsula and India are in different parts of the world, and in many ways ethnically different. Pakistan, controversially, is not very ethnically different from their north-indian counterparts. And on that note, it would be disrespectful, and literally wrong, to refer to a Korean as Chinese, just as it would be to refer to an Indian as an Arab. I used to have to explain this to people because I had a couple Nigerian friend whom would get asked about their experience in African countries they weren't even from because a lot of Americans seem to only view other cultures continentaly. Of course, they would only say that cause they're from Canada ;) (That last bit was sarcasm)

I posed a question and I also was fair to the store owners by stating the problems that they face also. You say you are Mexican, should I assume you are in a cartel because "every time I've seen someone in a cartel it's a young or old Mexican male?" FYI my uncle in law is an Arab store owner and he's a staple in the black community that he serves. The music video around the @1:15 mark is shot in front of his store because he is like family to those kids. He would tell you the truth probably lies in the middle, meaning there are good and bad on both sides. Thanks for the view and comment.

Why don’t we go to black owned stores? Why aren’t there more black owned stores? That’s the question we should be asking. Seems to me like Koreans and Arabs are filling a need that blacks don’t want to fill. It’s crazy that they seem to have no problem thriving in a country that hates minorities but blacks, who have been here for years can’t start or keep our own business or pass on generational wealth like other minorities. We used to own nail shops, barber shops and hair salons but we leave that to other races now. Can we really blame Arabs and Koreans for that?

As an outsider of American culture and politics, all I see is black people trying to play Basketball all day trying to go for dreams instead of something that's real. You are more interested in clout and social media to get rich rather than sustainable means. You complain too much about white people where other minorities just get on with things even if they've also been discriminated by them and yet they are succeeding where you guys are not. Rapper, Ball player, Entertainment, Caring too much about Hollywood representation when you have enough, Asking for handouts in getting small businesses open, Not getting educated through academics. These are all the things I hear and see as an OUTSIDER of American politics, it's not a good look for African Americans. All I hear is complaining, looting and rioting and not enough hard work and rolling your sleeves up. You guys chase dreams and not realistic goals...but ofc if I were to tell a black person that they will just say "don't tell us how to run our community you don't know what we been through bro." As he powers on his PS5 to get in another round of CoD... Think about that.

@Trap History I dont care what they say, it's the actions I worry about. Tulsa, towns turned into lakes. I think because blacks finally getting reparations will stir up a race war because they don't believe we deserve it, not realizing the effects of slavery affects us to this day. When we start "acting funny" there will be actions behind it. Let's say we separate. Blacks at the south, whites in the north. Then ut becomes and issue of who will destroy the other first. I don't disagree with you at all. I'm just stating a possible outcome of us uniting and taking care of our own will not go unchallenged. They don't want us to leave lo key, because then, they will have no one to blame and look down on. Let alone how much the economy will crash.

If we push all non black business owners out and open our own things en masse, what's to stop them from claiming discrimination and saying thats racist? The thing that really pisses me off (if I don't have a ride and have to go there) they will charge you twice if using a credit card. Taxes and for using your credit card. It doesn't matter if you buy items totaling over $15.00. Your card is automatically charged a surcharge along with the taxes. The owner watches everyone as if they are all thieves. The reason is the wyt people tell these people before they come over here that we are dumb and f***ing us over is the norm in the good ol USA. Setting them up in our neighborhoods is beneficial to them both. Ask yourself this...why have we been here for centuries and can't get franchises as quickly as they do? This has been going on for many moons now. I do not patronize Korean beauty stores at all. No, they are not going to give back to the BLACK community because you mean nothing and are nothing to them but a dollar bill. That's all. And they continue to do these things because we continue to allow it.

These convenient stores exploit everyone, everywhere. No just blacks. But the chain stores do the same. The stores can be better. Btw did you know that working a 24 store is one of the most dangerous jobs in the country?

I would like for the Arab & Latino owned stores & other businesses to treat all people the same. Don’t sit there & carry on a conversation with Caucasians & rush African Americans outta ya line or let Caucasians & other nationalities slide on chump change & look👀 crazy😜🤪 at African Americans. ✉️‼️

I can only speak for myself and my family as everyone else should as well. I have been a store owner for 10+ years in the east side of Buffalo. A predominately African American neighborhood. You don’t have to be a store owner to understand that it’s all about Supply and demand! I have brought fresh produce in just for it to go bad. How much money should I keep investing in a product that no one buys? The profit margins are very small because I cared more about volume rather then selling for the highest price. So once someone steals a couple bags of chips, the whole profit from that rack is almost gone. I still have to pay taxes (NYS has a 40% income rate tax) pay my bills, pay employees. How much are we left with? It takes YEARSSSS for us to see profit. Before you come lecture me on what I’m selling, lecture those that demand these products! I haven’t even mentioned how much credit we give out because we know life can hard and you need someone to help, but that sometimes doesn’t get paid. Go to Walmart and ask for credit and see them drag your ass out. It’s funny how minimal and sarcastic you made the store owners seem to be in this video. And FYI we do not sound like that😂😂

@@fiyahriddims I know the concept of hard work may seem foreign to you but believe me when I say this, it takes a lot to run a store. Much harder than robbing or looting one.

@@SmallTownResident it applies to many groups not just arabs. It’s just another tactic used to keep the urban dollar out of the community. I don’t know where your from but I see hard working individuals every day from bus drivers to those in the medical field on my way to work.. it has less to do with that and more to do with a system that’s set up for so called blacks to fail.
