My first culture shock in the west was in a German bus. Like the couple started making out really intensly, and I was like wtf is going on😂. There were 2 or 3 other commuters, but they didn't care. And I was sweating profusely the whole time😂. Personally I think PDA shouldn't be allowed everywhere. There should be places and parks where couples can have their time. Otherwise it can deeply affect children or people who donot want to see it.

I'm south Indian and Hindu (Tamil Nadu), but I've lived in the US for about three quarters of my life. As someone nearing their mid-thirties and having gone through the arranged marriage process for almost six years, I think the term "arranged" is a bit of a misnomer, at least from my experience. While there is a profile and the parents talk once or twice before I and the other parents' daughter start talking, the relationship between the two of us can mostly be what we want it to be without much interference from the parents. I've only ever really had long-distance relationships where we initially talk once a week and then ramp it up to a few times a week within a few months if we agree to take it to the next level where the next step is marriage. If things get serious, I try to meet the woman in-person at least once or twice (preferably for a weekend) before we agree to get married. I consider it to be kind of like dating in the sense that I'd actually want to get to know the person and consider them to be more than just friends, but without the physical aspects of a relationship. I wouldn't have a physical relationship until after marriage and am not big on PDA. I'm not very religious myself and don't personally think there's anything wrong with being intimate before marriage if both people agree to it; it's just not something I would ever do. Horoscopes and castes are things that come into consideration from the parent's side, but that's not something that I personally care much about. I just thought I'd share my experience since this is something I'm going through at the moment and can very much relate to the video. I hope you get the audition, Korbin.

it's okay korbin to have different morale and disagreement. the problem when is one is telling another is wrong. i know public affection in america is okay and that's fine but other cultures can have different morale so please understand it. we think it's called respect then there will be no difference between human and dogs. we are not narcissists to only think about own self but we respect our people in society. absolutely you can have your own morale but please leave our morale brother. that's how colonizers colonized our country by saying we don't have good morale and they are going to teach us and that what american government doing on eastern and arab countries. i think they all in the video of Asian are more modern and dressed like american culture and it's okay. i would have been happy if they all wore their cultural dresses to show the countries have different cultures and it's not wrong. today people are brain washed that modernism is good and traditionalism is bad. that's the world we live in. different countries have different types of public affection for you it's okay to kiss but when somebody can say that their public affection is fcking in street and that's the goodbye for them you will accept it or not? you don't care but deep down you will think that's weird and that's how we see kiss in our country as public affection.

Thank you so much for saying this! I really like both Rick and Korbin but what bothers me is when they judge the country's culture and morals. For example PDA isn't allowed in India and other Asian countries and Korbin says "that's unforunate" like u said it's ok to disagree but don't tell us it's wrong. They and many western ppl are against colonization of India and other countries yet they r still colonizing us and they don't know it with their western liberal values like back off

Traditionalism is bad if u r forcing it on people. People should be traditional out of their own will nd also be modern out of their own will. If someone doesn't want to do anything, nobody should be forcing anyone. We live in a free country. Also fucking in the streets is not allowed anywhere cz it comes under sexual harrasment bcz of public nudity.

I don't think modernism done any good to women when today women are more depressed than ever and men have high suicide rates all over the world i am saying it with statistics you can check it. In traditional family structure are good and no divorces like this happened but today in name modernism everyone cheating their partner. Forcing modernism is also bad for society. In France, u.s.a and Canada there are street where they fck in streets and it's allowed. it's not called sexual harrasment also because it called that when someone didn't concern on doing it please study well

The term “arrange marriage” differs today from the past years. In the previous generation, it was decided by family primarily and the couple had very less opinion on it. Nowadays, people even fall in love seeing the culture, status, caste, etc. And even if the wedding is arranged, the couple has a say in it.
